Hm...yeah, way to go boys! THAT will really encourage the people of Iraq to trust in the occupying coalition. I mean, there may well be more to it; maybe the policemen will turn out to be Saddam loyalists, who knows? But the fact is that the coalition are still behaving in a cack-handed and bullying fashion. That's not a recipe for lasting peace in Iraq, it's a recipe for disaster.
~shakes head~
And people still wonder why the US is so widely hated?

Doesn't seem to stop everyone else airing their views around here about America's actions and accidents in the war, oh unless everyone happens to be part of the army and been in lots of wars themselves? Oh what's that they haven't and are 'ignorant armchair imbeciles' themselves? Think i'll carry on airing my views too then thank you very much :-D

Tell me, were you there???
Do you know the copter's were next to one and other??
Do you know neither one of them was having mechanical problems??
Do you know the weather was nice, and that it was light??
Accidents happen dude, and i'm quite sure they did try to avoid one another. After all, how many people do you know try to crash in to one and other!

Mostly it's because the US are stationed in the more hostile central Iraq, but from what we hear they do seem to be clumsier than the British forces.

You're either a military helicopter pilot yourself or an ignorant armchair imbecile. Let me think..
Hell, not even the Ba'ath party had people gunned down for celebrating weddings in the traditional arabic manner (firing off guns into the air). And you can bet that that is what the Islamic fundamentalists who've been able to flourish in Iraq since the invasion will be saying to ordinary Iraqi's...

Heh. Normally it would be, but I'm very guilty of taking comments too seriously when I start enjoying a debate. My apologies.

Yes i was joking. Would have thought that was obvious
America has pretty much the highest rate of friendly fire incidents in the world out of the major nations. They're gun-ho, they're rednecks and compared to the British, they have made poor soldiers since WW2.
Quite frankly, your average American solider is either a fat guy with glasses, or a fat guy who likes to wrestle hogs back at the farm. Don't believe me? Everytime I saw an American soldier being interviewed, he was one of those two. Everytime I saw them on TV, they were one of those two.

For me the stupidest moment of the war was when the Americans bombed that British convoy - utter madness. What were they thinking in their speed induced gung-ho fever?

Err...I'm assuming you're joking?! That comment is about as unreasonable as Mojo's "It's always america who f**k up" comment.
