Let us hope they don't go and make a complete pigs ear out of this. It's one of my all time most anticipated films. Please don't screw it up!

This could be a really good film: an 18 with execessive gore, swearing, cool characters and xenomorphic mayhem. No stupid bits, no contrived plot and perhaps no cliche. However it is a "self contained" film being set in an very remote location and thus there is a chance that the human interest in the film could be negated. The Thing was great because the isolation increased the vulnerability of the characters and increased the level of paranoia. A versus movie is probably easy to make (you've already got two huge movie icons battling it out) and thus the characters will probably be dull and one dimensional.

I hope that I am proved wrong.

True, true. Predator should beat the aliens in to a bloody pulp. The humans will win as you said as that it what happens nearly everytime. Shame as I'd like to see what would happen if Predator did take out the group of humans that were sent to sort him out and such. Looking forward to this whenever they get around to finally doing it.

and if the predators don't win it'll be a farce.

This will be great if they don't balls it up. Something that a lot of people have been waiting a long time for I think. just think of the possible carnage that can happen. Better not get a 12A rating seeing as that is the most popualr certification for most films at the moment.
