Great idea: clever computer works out what you want to say and chooses the letters for you. But why, when I'm typing the word 'pub' is it only the third option, after 'sub' and 'rub'? Sub and rub. Now there are two words I constantly use in text messages. "I'll pick you up at 8 in my sub." Morons. I'm a busy man.

Bah it's a load of rubbish is predictive text.

Takes me long enough typing a normal message let alone going through it again sorting out stupid mistakes like "sub".

I'd laugh but I'm not entirely sure you're joking.

You mean you have to actually press the buttons to type a msg. I thought the phone predicts the msg and sends it for you, before you've even decided to write a txt msg to the receipient.

So you're saying that my wife still doesn't know that we're divorced?

You can edit the dictionary if it is a Nokia and place words in rank order of importance, check the manual.
