i mean i have wrote loads in the 2001 gaming and some punk has just won using my topic when my entry was much better than his,Gameaday what the heck is the point of putting loads of effort into one entry and not getting the rewards.Even the new jimmy said he expected my name to be on the winners list.Im sure the Game is a great writer of topics but this is bang out of order.

I bet other people would be **** off to find that they put loads of effort into a topic and some other entered not as much as you and won.
Im sorry people in the forum ive tried to be nice and all i got was jip.I have continuely produced good entries throughout the week yet the name is not there.
Again im saying this but no offence to the game but mine was better this time round,im sure he can write better stuff than me and vice versar.BUT GAMEADAY THAT TAKES THE PI**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As i said in the title WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT!!

This is a bad thing, and you know it.

Ice Cube, I know how you feel. I spent two days typing up a review of Moto GP on Sunday and I didn’t win. I will carry on reviewing games though, just to help other people to decide weather to buy a game or not. If you do a review and you know that you have helped someone not to waste their money on a game they don’t like (hopefully) I think that is a better feeling than winning a game. People will think I’m crazy for saying that, but if you wanted a game, really bad, but you wasn’t sure about which one to chose, then you come across a review that gives you all the information that you need you will then go out to buy it, and you have that persons review to thank.

I know I won’t win a gameaday prize by replying to someone’s thread because I can’t think of things to say most of the time. You need to be witty and informative, and both I can’t really do in typing a post. Oh well :).

I have only reviewed ONE game so I can’t complain about not winning. I have read your topic too, and I was very impressed. As other people have been saying, keep trying and I really do hope that your time will come to win a prize. If you do a post/review from your heart rather than thinking, “I must win” you will find that your post/reply will be better and more helpful to people (that was just a tip, im not saying that you was thinking "! must win")
Keep replying to posts though Ice Cube, yout time will come soon.

OK enough of me rambling on.

What do you mean takeover!

Okay, so I bet I am the last person you want to listen to about this sort of thing and you coming here when you did was bad timing where 'The Game' was concerned, but hey I posted on and off for a year and won nothing, my first Perfect Dark post which I planned for 3 days edited and all was beaten by an Egg and Spoon Race game back in late '99, I was upset and couldn't believe they chose a 'joke' post over my hard working attempt but hey, that is the way it goes. I forst won for a mis-spelled gamecube topic post where I went on moaning about the colour of the gamecube, I mean this is a crazy site and they say 'anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation'...well take it from me SR is almost as unpredictable!

But anyway, most people, when they win for a 'discussion' post, win when they don't really try to win, they give their honest and well written opinion and it pays off. This is the second time I have won in a month and I know, it is unfair and I felt that way when Fogmeister first beat me....but hey, I mean that is the way it goes. One day you will takeover fromone of the regulars like Sniper, Sheepy, Edgy Ant, FM Grix and maybe even me, but for now, post your heart out and think before you write!

The Game

Trouble is, you can't check whos been posting reviews that day, which also win....

I think that the only times I`ve won have been days when nobody else was posting. I haven`t actually checked to see if there were any other entries those days, but I doubt there were.
I suggest you wait until a day that nobody posts.

Perhaps you could suggest a holiday for all the people who post here and then enter a load of reviews or topics that day, and see what happems.

Anyway, more seriously, I am sure you`ll win soon. I was very impressed with your post. In fact, I had read it before it won, and then when I looked at the winners list I assumed it was you, but then it was The Game. Ah well, next time!

Hello Ice Cube, welcome to reality! i have won 4 times you may say (enter rude word)! but it took me 3 months to win first time! I donated one to charity! but stick with it, this is my fav discussion board/ chat room and it is cool to be a regualer!
