Yep, got back from my mate's wedding in Dublin. Well, it was near Dublin. Wicklow Bay to be exact.
I have never drunk so much Guiness in my life and it's true - it does taste different in London. Of course, by different, I mean better.
If I can be bothered, I might post some pictures up at some point later this week. This was drunken debauchery on a frightening scale. Even the Irish were shocked at our wanton madness which is no small feat.
I had a great time up there and even went for a dip in the sea. Later on down the pub I was speaking to the bride's cousin and he told me I was dicing with death as there are a fair number of basket sharks around the area. I don't know if he was kidding or not but that shocked me a bit. Not as much as it shocked my mate (the groom) who instigated the random jump into the sea.
Ireland is definitely recommended.
