Is it because of American Rappers that people put their hoods on and wear hoodies? I seen 2 kids hanging around near some closed shops at 12 midnight with their hoodies on but i get the message they think they are hard but they look ridiculous we should be wearing NORMAL clothes not what American Rappers wear and they wonder why they get in trouble!
I just have the feeling some of our English culture is getting Americanised!

What business is it of yours what clothes other people are wearing? Does it concern you if they like to dress in alternative clothing? What is NORMAL clothing?

So what should they be wearing? Blazers and cravats, or Union Jack hankies on their heads? Look through your wardrobe and bet you'll find around 50% of it is made by American designers or US owned companies.

Mind you though, those crazy Goths - they'll catch their death of cold!

I have a custom hoodie, i made it from roadkill.

The hood itself is a badgers face.

Fact:
A rapper who is actually from the 'hood' wearing a hoodie looks cool (most of the time)
Little Cyril, the middle class white boy from a nice area wearing a hoodie just looks plain stupid.

I don't wear any hoodies though you could say i dress like a rapper because i wear all the american football, basketball jerseys. The reason i wear them though is not to try and look cool and follow the rappers but because i like the sports and the teams so i wear their jerseys, although if someone in the street saw me walking by them i guess i can understand their reasons for believing i'm trying to be 'down with the street'

I think it's called hiding your face so you can do naughty things.

But yeah they do base it around some of the black rappers who do actually look quite cool in their hoodies on the fron of magazines, what the kids don't realise is that the rapper had a stylist and probably a custom made hoodie which would look cool.
