The chances of anything happening are slim, but it really is best to never give any address out on a public forum, and only give it to online friends whom you've known for ages and ages, and only if they absolutely do need to know it.

But who cares if *he* gets what he deserves?

But I don't really care what hapens to him...

Plus, with any kids, it's more dangerous, someone could just be browsing a forum ,see an address, see a kid lives there, befriend them over the internet....you see where I'm going with this ?

Because someone's private address can identify them in real life, if you wanted to be known then you'd have your real name as your user ID, but instead you have an alterego, an alias, to hide your identity. With an address, and a little more info linked to that address, various types of fraud and other stuff could be very easy to do.

See this is what I'm getting at. Posting that bomb remark was just silly. It's not very likely but someone COULD post a bomb to J Savo and you would now be the prime suspect.

This is why addresses are best left alone.

Bah, That was big_slow.

Anyway he says it's not his.

What I want to know is that why people don't want their address out. Is it due to just simply privacy, because I don't thin anyone here is exactly gonna go down to his house and punch him in the nose...

just wondering, because the only reason I don't want my address public is pure privacy.

If thats his real address, than thats pure idiotic.

Savo's is not, I tried it and it's real - according to the Royal Mail anyway.
