You've probably noticed that SR only advertise their own products and of course, without doubt, this is a good thing. I'm sure it's even an incentive almost to new users when they notice that they're not being bombarded with pop-ups or banner adds for some casino everytime they visit the site. However, would you complain if SR started to advertise for other companies IF it meant the return of the 'lost GADs'? (the cheats and chat GADs)
I'm not talking a billion pop-ups a second or a page laced with banners - just one pop-up every so often or a banner add in the member details box. It wouldn't annoy me, I'd welcome it if it meant that adverts paid for the return of the other GADs (in theory it wouldn't annoy me anyway). But what do YOU think? Would you be put off coming to the forums because of adverts or would you visit MORE because of the higher chance of winning a GAD??

I wouldn't mind either way. Banners are just there on the site and I don't think they would do much harm just as long as they are kept to a minimum and not put in silly places. Pop up I'm not sure if it would stop it as I still get a few, but, all I have to do is close them.
With this said by a few members so far, and no doubt more to come, then if S.R were to think about this idea, then I doubt it would be used as none of us would pay them the attention that they were originally created for. I would rather it be banners and not popups since I have a variety of window up at once and it really annoys me to have to close the popups.

Yes i suppose, i wouldnt mind. But to be honest, i couldnt give a crap about the GAD.
