I'm not talking a billion pop-ups a second or a page laced with banners - just one pop-up every so often or a banner add in the member details box. It wouldn't annoy me, I'd welcome it if it meant that adverts paid for the return of the other GADs (in theory it wouldn't annoy me anyway). But what do YOU think? Would you be put off coming to the forums because of adverts or would you visit MORE because of the higher chance of winning a GAD??
By the way, this is just a question asked out of interest by me
(I posted this in Future of Gaming by accident sorry if you've seen it twice)

you say it like it didn't happen before - customers bought stuff and that paid for the 3 GADs, surely....it still pays for the remaining GAD.... unless you steal the games...

I keep getting a popup on msn for "byebyeads.com" it gets annoying grr!

Only the crap ones. Before i got the firewall i used this free one and it stoppped EVERYTHING from coming up. Even if i clicked on a link that was supposed to bring up a new window it wouldn't allow it.

It may stop the pop ups which do what? save about 10 minutes a day... But AOL alone causes about 50 hours of lag a day... for one peson.
