Name the major religion in the UK ? (Apparently there are 5)
When did the largest migration to Britain occur and why ?
When can a police officer arrest you ?
How do a married man and woman divorce ?
How do you get medical treatment ?
When did women first get the right to vote in Britain ?
What are the constituent parts of the UK ?
What are the laws governing children and school ?

Can you answer these, to the degree of answer expected ie for the arrest one you cannot just say "when someone commits a crime" ?

Well, according to a Daily Express source, these and many more questions are the basis for the proposed tests for asylum seekers. Which, hilariously, the Express and Mail both oppose because "tax payers money is being spent on educating immigrants.

Me, could do very few of them with regard to getting the actual definition the answers ask for or close.

Roman Catholic and Church of England are not Religions.

They both practise Christianity, which is the religion.

You fools.

YOU ALL FAIL.

Oh, and on another note, they gave a great "If you want to immigrate to the UK, answer these questions and see what you got"

Of course, the good samaritan is not allowed, and the guy who couldn't care less is given 25 grand a year, a free house and a car to drive.

But, they were right. I don't have a grudge against people who want to come to the UK, as long as they have the money to buy themselves a house and get a job, if they can't, they go out on the streets.

That's my policy.

I would get like, every vote in Britain at the general elections, BECAUSE I WOULDN'T WASTE MONEY ON PEOPLE WHO DON'T DO ANYTHING FOR THE UK THEMSELVES.

The Express's source is wrong. The parents must ensure that the child gets a good education, but not necessarily through a school. Hence home schooling. Under the Scottish education system due to when birthdays are some kids can leave at the age of 15.

Glasgow has a few thousand asylum seekers presently, so Scottish differences should be taken into account.

Anglican Church. But if you want 5 I guess theres Roman Catholic, Islam, Jeudaism, Hinduism, Sikh, Buddist...

> When did the largest migration to Britain occur and why ?
I don't know, but either after World War II or after the last Roman Legions left Britain in 410 AD; Anglo Saxons, Jutes etc.

> When can a police officer arrest you ?
When you commit and offence or are suspected of commiting one.

> How do a married man and woman divorce ?
Through the law courts.

> How do you get medical treatment ?
Go to the doctors after registering.

> When did women first get the right to vote in Britain ?
1918, but only women over 30. It was not until 1928 that women could vote on the same terms as men.

> What are the constituent parts of the UK ?
England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland. Unless it means political constituances in which case there are loads.

> What are the laws governing children and school ?
I don't have a clue.

Jedi

Whenever they built the channel tunnel and because who in their right mind wants to stay in France? either that or our over generous benefits system might have a smidgen to do with it.

> When can a police officer arrest you ?

Whenever you dare to get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle you scum.

> How do a married man and woman divorce ?

They go to a divorce lawyer where the woman proceeds to get everything out of the relationship leaving the man a car to sleep in and a clean suit, if he's lucky, all in the name of equality of course.

> How do you get medical treatment ?

Wait on a bed for 3 days then if your lucky, or not dead, you get to see a doctor for 2 minutes who then proceeds to botch up your surgery.

> When did women first get the right to vote in Britain ?

1918 apparantly. (Would put another sarcastic comment here but then i'll be a *sexist neanderthal* and i wouldn't want to be one of them now would i?*

> What are the constituent parts of the UK ?

Everywhere in the world. Everyone's welcome.

> What are the laws governing children

Ah.
It's phrased really badly.
If it was "What are the laws concerning a child's attendance" or something similar, I might have got it.

These are bloody silly, most of us would be put in a van and have screaming parents banging the sides and shouting "scuuuuuuum" as we rode past.
