My favourite film is Kellys Heros which stars Clint Eastwood.
I seen the film at a young age when i was just learning what happened in the war. I thought it was awful and i didnt want to think about it. I objected to watching the film as i didnt like any topic about the war. My mother ordered me to watch it and i loved it. A bunch a awol soldiers led by Kelly (Clint Eastwood) going behind enemy lines to steel gold. It was the start of a craze as i loved the film so much me and my mates would act out parts of the movie.
I now own the video and watch it time and time again and i still laugh!

There are so many great films about today, ranging from classics i.e Kelly's Hero's. Godfather etc to the pure quality of T2 judgementday and gladiator. However films which hit a note specific to the audience which we can all relate to are the most powerful i believe. My favourite film is Taxi Driver staring Robert De Niro and dircted by Martin Scorsese. This is an elegent and true distinguishing look at how lonliness effects everyone. Travis Bickle (De Niro) is in the most populated city in the world (New York) however he still feels lonly, the day today tedeeum and the actions taking part on the streets around him drive him to do what he think is right. This film is a superb portrayal of lonliness and we should all know because we have all been there at some point but this is how it effects us differently. Sit back and wathc it and be amazed by the serverity of it.

Well this is a tricky one, there is many films I adore but too pick one would be mighty difficult!

I will go through ones I like and then I will explain because it will all be for the same reason!

GODFATHER SERIES= These are amonug the best ever made, I can not explain why I like it so much it is just brilliant! I am sure many of the factors is also the acting, all the actors/actresses are superb, I also like the soundtrack! maybe their is some Scillian blood in me!

BACK TO THE FUTURE= Old favourite of mine, I was only young it first came out but it was one of my favourites of childhood! I also believe it stimulated my brain, I always wanted to make a time machine but could never find a flux copacitor!

INDIANA JONES= Another old favourite of my childhood! I LOVED these films, a reason probably because I wanted to be an explorer or something and I always wanted to be Indiana Jones he was so cool! I think I used to run around with bike chain and pretend it was my whip...:D

SCHINDLERS LIST= I love this film, and one mayor issue is that I read lot into WW2 and Steven Speilberg has told it like it was, and has not made up some rubbish that Hollywood would like it showed it how it really was, and I think one of the best of gensius in filmaking when the only piece of colour in film is of little girl in red dress then later she is dead on pile to be buried it made a very strong point!

SAVING PRIVATE RYAN= As above once again that man Steven Speilberg works his magic, he tells the truth about WW2, and not just the Americans storming in and winning, the first 20 mins of this film are very strong (NORMANDY LANDING) and of course Tom Hanks great acting works well and the scenery!

I could go on all day but I hope the idea of the films I love and why I love them!

Thanks for reading SHEEPY

"This film is Absolutely Unmissable"
It stars George Clooney, Mark "e" mark Whalberg and Ice Cube.
Its a recent take off of my favourite film Kelly's Hero's.
And boy, is it good!
The Gulf war is over, Saddam's army in Iraq has been annilhiated and the only thing left to do for the U.S army boys is to party!
Its only when a veteran Major Archy Gates (George) finds a map in a p.o.w bottom that changes everything. Archy and a small band of troops,Troy,Conrad and Elgin go out into the middle of the desert and straight in the middle of the Civil War.
The map leads the Band of Soldiers to a small Village where the millions of $ in Kuwaiti Gold is stored. Now, the band have 2 choices Take the gold and run and be rich or stay and help the uprising breakfree from the evil dictater, Saddam.
The band choose to stay on and help the rebels who in turn help them.

Im not going to ruin the film for you by telling everything but if you do get to watch it or have already seen the movie post a note and tell me what you think.

Surely you remmeber that Star Wars's was mostly influenced by 2001: A Space Odyssey. Without 2001 most of the shots most memorable in Star Wars was influenced by 2001. For example the static shot of the ship slowly floating across the screen. The ship takes about 10 seconds to pass.

You never do find out if he was a replicant or not... its kindof a question mark at the end of the movie...

The film, I reckon stands up still (despite being based on a novel written in 1965)...

That's a very difficult one. My favorite film would probably be Bill and Ted, as it is still so funny to watch, even today. Not a popular choice, I grant you, but my choice!

He was a replicant in blade runner - that was finally revealed not too long ago (around the last time it was on TV - maybe some sort of anniversary) by Ridley Scott.

Personally I've always thought the film was very overrated, but still decent enough.

There truely is no question in my mind. It has to be "Blade Runner". Anybody who hasnt seen this film ABSOLUTELY MUST! It truely was so ahead of its time. It was origionaly made in 1982 (I believe) and yet the graphics are out of this world. And dont even get me started on the stroy line. The whole "Is he a Rep" twist is just genious. And for anybody that has seen this film, Watch out for Deckards eyes. All reps have a slight glint of red in their eyes and at one point in this film, Deckard is out of focus and you can see the red in his eyes. In my opinion the man had to be a Replicant and it is this moment that proves it for me.

What do you think? I must have watched this 20 times and it never gets old. I would love to hear other peoples opion it and what they think about Deckard being a Rep or not.

Star Wars I,IV,V,VI are my favourite films in no particular order. I just love everything about them, the characters are brilliantly created and all so believable, hero's vs villains, the fairytale, the planets, locations, creatures, weapons and vehicles are just great. The story lines are excellent and it doesnt matter how many times I see it - I always see something I havent seen before. Another great thing is that the films never seem to age. There is so much to look out for and things happening that its impossible to draw yourself away from it. The music plays an important role in the films aswell, from the Imperial march to the Duel of the Fates, it captures the atmosphere and spirit precisely.
I cant think of anything else I would rather watch than Star Wars!! Episode II only a year away now!!!
