I was quite sad about this, the man was a ledgend, in reality not a great actor, he was hard as nails, probably from working down coal mines as a kid, and those tunneling skills came in handy in the great escape. The great escape was the film i liked him in most and he'll be remembered for his strong but silentish roles.

Too bad he died, he ruled in the Death Wish series.
Not really affected by his death as I didn't personally know him and as he didn't die young so he left us with several excellent movies. The best one being The Magnificent Seven.
HE is hero worshipped by the man alleged to be "britains hardest prisoner", who changed his name to charles bronson as a tribute, I wonder how he has taken it.
I think Streetfighter was my favourite Bronson film, he was always stereotyped as the strong silent one, long may he Rest In Peace.
I thought he was a fairly pants actor, but he seemed to get into quite a few films.
Never seen any of his stuff but it is sad that he died. Seemed like a cool guy.
