When should you have gotten a penalty?

Just a note, I'm not angry that we were beaten. You were the better team. But the referee spoilt it.

Dunno about a straight red, that would be harsh. Fair enough you deserved a penalty there, but we should have had one too.

But the hand ball on the line. It was going in. Straight red, so that kinda makes up for it. But we still should have come away with a point.

I'm tempted to send Mr. Gallagher a pair of glasses, just to make my point known. As for the lino's...they don't deserve to run the line EVER again. I could have done a better job.

On the whole i thought it was a fair result. In the first half we were cleary the better team, though in the second, Wycombe came at us, but were never really in control of the game. My heart was in my mouth from 60 mins onwards, especially when Del boy got sent off (Geary to the most of you), but we held on well, our pretty good defending, and there lack of much up front got us through that.

The ref was poor, but yet he often takes charge of Prem games! Both teams could have had pens, many bad tackles went unpunished, and like the legend that is Waddle said, Geary should not have been sent off.

Nice result thougj, up to 5th now with two home games to come. Lucking forward to them. Finally, a season thats looking positive!

I didn't think Mapes had a particularly good game. Just because Wycombe couldn't find the final touch to get it in doesn't mean they were bad up front.

I disagree with you Matt.

I feel we lacked up front. No one could get the final touch; no one could get onto the long balls from Vinnie. They needed to take Mapes off and bring on Bullie, my personal 'chum' from back in the day. (YeY)

LS will be gone by the end of September. If not...Christmas.

I watched the game. I can't say I was particularly impressed with Wycombe as a team. Going forward, they look good but they look totally lost at the back.

Sheff Wed were a much better team when they were attacking. I think the result was about right.

Okay. The hand ball. The vicious tackles. The time wasting. The constant kicking the ball away. The giving the goal kicks instead of the corners. The giving the throw to the other team.

I've never seen such a crap referee. And I'll justify my reasons in a minute.
