Hey, NappyMohican and desperate for help! For those who don’t know, I’m a desperate MBA student working on her project (due in 2 weeks! ) on digital downloads who has two surveys that need to be filled!
Thanks to those who filled the 1st one and now, PLEASE have a go at this much shorter one (just 12 questions this time) about paying for downloads.

You buy your singles from expensive places then. Still a stupid survey IMO

Kazaa lite is just a modified and ILLEGAL version on Kazaa. The only difference is it has the spyware removed. It doesn't warrant a mention.
Yes some singles are 99p. But on the other hand £4.99 singles are fairly common, occasionally higher.

Plus it's badly done.
One question calls Kazaa a website, then asks people to admit to using it to download material. Plus there seems to be no knowledge of Kazaa Lite at all...AND there is no option for people to say they do not visit it ! Technically he/she should have a survey that says no one visits the website because you do not download from Kazaa that way. it's peer to peer !
Survey says there are legal websites, indicating before he/she was asking about illegal websites, and gives no examples of legal ones !
Another question has the price of shop bought singles at 2.99-4.99 when the price range is actually 99p-3.99 and a recent news release by the companies comitted them ro making most singles 1.99
The reasons why people would not pay are limited and stupid, the only reasons people can give are related to the time it takes, and not price/money related factors !
In short it's crap, obviously rushed, and I don't seriously see it getting much at GCSE level let alone MBA. Little to no evidence of research at all into the area, poorly thought out survey, poor options for people to choose, and terribly worded questions.

Depends, at University level it's not always that clear cut. Plus the music industry surveyed thousands of people, and at the end of the day surveys are about interpreting results, if you don't get enough results then they're a waste of time. Plus the Record Companies targeted age groups. Ultimately I'd say many lecturers are going to wonder what one person can come up with that the entire industry could not....

Probably doesn't fall into what the project's about. Doing your own research has got to get you additional approval from whoever's marking it.
Why not just base it on one of the publically available US Record industry surveys ?
