I think the Megadrive wins hands down.

The Megadrive is made by Sega, a world renowned figure in the gaming industry, who not only have a half decent track record of producing great consoles, but a great track record of developing games.

Plus it has a HUGE back catalogue of titles, it's easy to use, it's smaller, lighter (almost portable!), and all your mates at one time or another will admit to owning one at one time or another.

The X-Box isn't, doesn't, isn't, isn't, isn't and they won't.

Hard to find, well maybe it depends alot on where you live, I shop around Swansea and Newport mostly and between them their is an abundance of Second hand game shops who sell old stuff.

The only things I find hard to find is second hand Saturn stuff!

You've obviously never tried this. They are very hard to find!

Point taken though, it doesn't matter. Most of the decent MD games had extra ports in the cart - Hah! Another thing xbox can't do!

Sadly though, I think the X-box will sell more then the MD in the coming years, laregly due to greater developer support and better marketing.

ok maybe the megadrive can be fun ,but how could it be any competition for the xbox . I'm not planning on buying the xbox but just because the megadrive has no loading it does NOT mean its better .Maybe all of you better think it over

No prob, pick yourself up a Megadrive multitap and some spare pads for £5 down your local second hand games shop.

Megadrive...no loading times!

Long live the Megadrive!
