People keep going on about the size bieng important for a console but does it really matter?

Playstation 2 Is the biggest and bulkiest console so far but it has the best uses. If you didn't want to buy a game, you could buy or rent a dvd movie, or listen to your favourite music.

If you wanted an unforgetable party, you could do the three in one, which is listening to music, watching movies and showing your mates who is boss on a game.

But this isnt to say there are no problems. Sony only changed their Controller colours, not the design, they only used infra red wireless controllers which meant you needed to stay very still even if you got very angry because a boss or enemy killed you and you had to restart the whole level again, and only having two players even though its meant to be top of the range.

Gamecube is tiny compered to the Playstation 2 but at least it can have four players and have better wireless controllers, as they use waves instead of wireless.

Does this all mean you need every console to get the best games? Not if Sony had four player abilities and better wireless controllers, and not if Gamecube could play DVD's.

But still i would probably prefer to get both these consoles.

If you had a handheld and it couldn't fit in your hands it wouldn't be a handheld!

If you wanted to run a PC game which needs 64 MB Ram and you've only got 59MB ram (I hate Time computers) then you're stuck.

Therefore Size Matters!

Just because the gamecube doesnt have a DVD drive doesnt mean its not going to have great games! After all its discs will be optical media aswell!

However I think the PS2 will suffer because it only has 2 ports as standard, a fourplayer mode is harder to implement than a 2 player mode..and so its a feature some games developers may neglect in order to get their game out!
