Whenever I burn MP3's on to a CD they always play ok on my stereo in my house but skip on the CD player in my car and it drives me crazy(excuse the pun)!
I use pretty cheap CD's for copying (jungle.com) and I think this could be the reason why.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can you suggest good quality, yet cheap CD's I could use for copying? Or do you have an alternative solution to this problem?

Please help.....cheers!!

I heard that burning CD's at 1x speed sometimes helps.

ie if your burning a 60 minute CD it takes 60 minutes to do but it is of a higher quality.

That's quite annoying, do you think even if I tried a different type of cd-r I would still have the same problem?

Cheers,

Thanks for your responses guys, although I don't think there's a problem with my car stereo because it plays loads of original CD's without a problem, even pretty scratched ones. I have also found that the copied CD's don't play well on lots of other stereo's aswell (not just car stereo's).

The CD-Player doesn't have anti-skip so every time there's a slight judder it skips.

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
