"Tottenham expect to sign Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson in a three million pound deal before the transfer window closes on sunday."

Yay what a bargain, three million for something like the third best goalie in the Premiership after Carlo and maybe Freidel.

"Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle wants the England squad man to put pressure on USA keeper Kasey Keller. To accomodate the deal, Hoddle will offload Neil Sullivan this week TO CHELSEA"

What? Robbo reserve to Keller that's man. Sad to see Sully go but with two top class goalies i don't think he will be missed. TO CHELSEA don't they have enough bloody keepers? All better than Neil Sullivan.

Everton have just signed Nigel Martyn from Leeds...

So if Robinson goes anywhere who does that leave in goal?

Leeds might have had a good start so far to the new season but theres still plenty of time for it to all go pear-shaped if they keep letting people go.

erm lets put it this way. Macho did an anderton, (got injured on first day of training) and ambrosio is a bit erm terrible (at first impressions) so we need a keeper, and an experienced sullivan will do the job nicely (even if he is from spurs)

YOu know i never thought I'd actually see the day when chelsea signed someone from spurs.....

I forgot that Chelski had signed Macho and Ambrosio. For God's sake, I suport Man Utd.

What is going on? robinson is valued at 3.5 mill? roman has big wallet.......why sign sullivan when you could sign robinson? give robbo 40k a week and he'll be happy to slug it out with carlo. Rather than having sullivan on the bench get a good young english keeper, If robbo goes to spurs he still has to compete with keller anyway.

Sullivan would not be number two. Macho Ambrosia (sp?) and you think Sully would be number two? The only way he'd get a game is if all 3 other goalies got injusred. Unlikely with a capital U.
