It says that he is moving to a premiership club and will make his final appearence for rangers on wednesday. Where is he going i have heard nothing of this.

Rab Douglas is a very good keeper, but I also rate Jon Gould quite highly for the Scotland spot. One of the best reflex keepers in Britain.

My one permanent memory of Rab Douglas is in Seville in May when he did a handstand when Celtic scored.

He's easily the best Scottish player right now (besides Rab Douglas), although that isn't saying much.

Oh i think he'll come good im not sure if he is top club material though at the mo.

The one thing wee Barry has going for him is that he can learn. He improved a lot under Dick Advocaat. Then he was great last year. He's certainly used to playing alongside good players. And he can hold his own in Europe.

Today has given us the perfect example how players moving from scotland can go horribly wrong, Arsene Wenger took a nice big sack of money with 9mill in it and flushed it down the toilet. Giovani van Bronkhorst, hohohohoho I rembember that whole summer, chelsea had signed lampard and wanted van bronkhorst too as the midfield pairing, then arsene wenger stole him from us, And he turned out to be useless and today has gone out on a years loan to barcelona. We signed petit and although not the worlds best he did at least improve us. He is another of those players wenger has signed and thought oh he's not very good "lets pretend he is a defender", a la lauren and By the looks of things Kolo toure. I think Ferguson could work but he'll need time to adapt and eventually at the right club (ie spurs or blackburn) he could flourish.

he could raise to the next level at spurs i ithink if he was given control, but at the moment he has just been stagnating in scotland. The problem with the scottish league is the top players only play 4 proper standard league games a year, and even then they know everything about there opposition. Although there are some good teams only rangers and celtic would hold down a premier league place, so te top players are inexperienced at high paced football week in week out, which is a bit of a shame.

Yeah when i first heard it i thought yeah he is the kind of player you could see at spurs which is why i came and asked where he was going.

He is Ranger's best player. Only Henrik Larsson has as good a claim to best player in Scotland. He would be a good buy for almost any club. I'd be sad to see him leave though.
