I brought a PSX a couple of years ago, and now the newer PS one has just come out. I don't see the point in the PS One, as it is just the same as a PSX, but just a bit smaller. They say it is better because there is going to be a small screen which connects on to the back of it, but its going to be really small, and when are we going to see it? Instead of buying a PS One, isn't it better to save up your money for a PS2? My friends have brought a PS one as well as their PSX, and basically i think that it is a waste of money, as it is just the same as having two PSX's. Also, the PS One costs more than a PSX, so isn't it better to buy the cheapest one if you do buy one, and save your money?
Does anyone agree with me, or does anyone think differently? Please leave your views so that i can see what you think.

I also think that they might release a hand held version of the PSX like a gameboy, and this would probably be quite close to the time when the PS One goes totally portable! I definitely think that you should save your money if you already have a PSX. If you don't then i suppose it would be worth buying a PS One, but you may have to wait a while until you can get evrything to make it go portable, and you don't know what sort of consoles are brought out during this period of time.

I wouldn't see the point in buying a PSOne if you already had a PSX.

It's the same thing that Sega did years ago, they relaunched both the Sega Master System, and the Megadrive as the Sega Master System 2 and the Megadrive 2 respectively.

It just breathes a little fresh air into the console, and can often bring it to consumers attention again.

It's not really portable yet though, as you still have to have the separate pad, and it still needs mains power, right?

I bet we see a handheld equivolent of the PSX before too long...
