Hmm , I see your points Christian type people, having challenged you all, as well as probably annoyed the Scottish people in another topic, annoyed all the spammers in another, moaned at people to vote in another, and played out the beginning of WW3 in another, I think it's time to go watch DVD's.

One last thing though, if the bible is supposed to be like the reference book of christianity, and if successive powers have changed it in the past - for instance some pagans claims that early christianity effectively took the pagan religion, nicked bits and demonised others - then how does anyone know the truth anymore ? King James changed one passage from to "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" when the previous meaning was different. Plus historians like Ronald Hutton have shown that, in medieval times, Christianity took images like that of a horned goat, which were symbols of many nature based religions, and demonised the image, creating the Devel/Demons etc, plus there's the whole European Witch Hunts thing - which incidentally no one from any of the churches involved ever apologised for.

I do not ignore anything. If there are valid explanations then fine I am fine to listen. I am not brainwashed..

But you cannot understand what I tell you unless you believe either,

Its difficult to explain but you are finding ways against what I say and I am trying to compromise those with what I believe (which you don't)

Grr I need a kebab

Heh, Priests and Church really don't have much to do with faith. I don't go church very often and I don't really find that it bolsters my faith in any way.

My youth Christian Group is very cool though, I'm allowed to speak my own views, become closer to God, have a laugh with mates and eat everyone else's food at the same time.

The main reason why religious arguments become pointless after a while is because non-Christians find it hard to understand why Christians have such faith - it comes down to personal experiences much of the time, not mere facts.

But It would be good to find a good church with people my age..
Their mostly in Ant's town though. I have alot of respect for some of the pastors there.

But yes, not all priests are to be taken for gold plated writing

But, faith is not always a positive thing. It's a fine line, faith does in a sense involve ignoring everything to the contrary and just believing in something no matter what, hence it's technically along the same lines a brainwashing. IMO anyway.

Just because someone believes something they can't easily prove doesn't mean they sound brainwashed. It means they have faith.
