"Why I hate Channel 4"

I just remembered this after reading that Phone Booth thread

My favourite film is probably The Shawshank Redemption

Channel 4 showed an advert for it on telelvision but spoiled the bloody ending in the clip and therefore I lost the big gasp factor in the film.

Channel 4 is pretty cool though, but still.

That episode of West Wing will start on E4...now.

I think there is an episode on E4 tonight. Latest series.

I also hate them for West Wing related crimes - the show time, and adverts in it.

Hence I just watch the DVD's, which means the last episode I've seen was Two Cathedrals which ends with Bartlett about to answer the re election question - bl""dy fantastic episode, especially where he sees Mrs Laningham in the Oval Office, brilliance.

I totally agree with you on the West Wing outrage. Bummers.

Yeah, but you know what's gonna happen at the end anyway.

Occasionally if I'm ill I watch countdown, it isn't that bad.

I hate Big Brother though.

I also hate them for not showing the West Wing at a decent time. 10:30 on a Thursday night was good enough, at least it was regular. But they just mess up that show. The BBC would have had billboards for it.

On the DVD it spoils the ending on the menu with a video clip in the background ... but I've seen it many, many times already so that's okay.

Best film ever.
