The film was quite engaging, the acting was terrific and the script was good, for a hollywood effort. However the film is far far far too short. 117 minutes. Come on that's not much longer than a bloomin episode of ER, in fact it could have been an episode of any drama show, with a little trimming here and there.

I did wonder how they could sustain the concept for two hours. They didn't bother and just finished the film when it was getting interesting.

The best thing about Phone Booth is the fact that the DVD cover actually spoils the movie.

Luckily I saw it in the cinema. Probably just because it had Mr Sutherland in it. Hehe.

Sorry that should have been 77 minutes long....Yeah monkey I've seen Panic room, again engaging yet stupid (why do they allow her to leave the room-just make sure one of them guard the door whilst the other two stooges ape about). Maybe they should have combined the two films?

SPOLIERS

You know, the bloke manages to escape with the loot, runs into a phone booth to arrange for one of his mates to pick him up and then the whole sniper scenario starts...

He's desperate to get away and is trying to hide the money, whilst the other guy with the gun is trying to get him to come clean and give himself up.

And be nice to his girlfriend.

Best film eva?

I thought that any longer and it might have started dragging on a bit. Have you seen Panic Room? It's far better, making much better use of a similar sitution, and it's over an hour and a half.

Hardly the shortest film ever though, is it?

I mean some films are only about 90 mins long. Unless you mean it's one hour and 17 minutes long.
