No really, here's the deal.
You're young, you're beautiful and you've got £300 to spend in the games market - what do you do?
Well, if you are young and beautiful, not too young though of course, then maybe you wouldn't have just £300, but remember - this is a hypothetical...
RULES:
Everything must be bought new. RRP is irrelevant.
No money in the future for gaming, other than line calls and batteries.
Ok, so here's the options.
a) Playstation 2. 2ports. DVD format. You get the 128bit 291mhz console, a pad, a free remote control if you get it from SR, but no games, no DVD movies, no extras. You'll need more. What can you do? Look at it, take it back (should this be your choice). You can't get any more than this as £300 is the limit.
b) GameBoy Color. One player, but link up play possible. Cartridge. £65 console. You'll get the most successful console ever, albeit in handheld form. You'll be able to get all the add-ons, camera, cases, printer (printer?) and all sorts as well as 8 £20 games (approximately). So, you get an 8bit color screen and machine in one, you can play it anywhere and the 8 games will keep you entertained.
c) Playstation One. 2ports. CD based. £80, an extra pad for £20. 32 bit games machine, recently redesigned (Is it 34bit now?). You can get £200 worth of games, but you'd need 2 mem cards at say £15 for the two. You could easily get ten games for new at £185 total, with at least one or two newish titles.
d) Nintendo 64. Games console with cartridges rather than CD. 64bit. 4ports. You'd fill those four with an extra £40 I would think. So thats £100 and now £200 for games. Get Donkey Kong and EXP pak for £40 from SR. Now £160. You'd be able to get 8 games for £10 each. Now there's £80 for two new released games. Your choice of around 3, but PD and WWF are still high priced.
e) Dreamcast. 128bit games and Internet machine. 4ports. GD rom based. £110 with 5 games from online source. £60 to fill the 3 other ports with either mouse, keyboard, control pad. ESSENTIAL 2 VMU. Thats £200 down. Line calls are free. £100 to add to game collection. Get Soul Calibur for £10. Get Virtua Tennis and Jet set Radio for £20 each. £50 left. Get a new game for £30, and a newly released game for £20. n
What'll it be then?

You're in school?? What about half-term???
But I admire his ability to trash a topic. I thought I did a good job, but I've been put to shame.
FantasyMeister: Must try harder.
If I go caught doing this I would probably get suspened my school is very strict on that stuff, but the teacher is a bit stupid!
Thats me off to dance now!
