I'm sure it'd work, baring in mind the audience is nearly all male teens/pre teens it's not like we'd have to be too explicit in the content either, maybe to spice it up a bit the person who texts the most over the 6 hours receives a free game of their choice up to £45 based on RRP - that's like 75x 60p, and it's bound to encourage people to text.

Actually, Game Network should explot the happless adolescents which text in, 10 minutes before the program ends, get one of the girls to say "if we receive a thousand texts before the show ends, we'll all strip each other, totally" , and seeing as no one can count the number of texts they could get away with not doing it, with each text being 60p, that'd be £600 in ten minutes alone, minimum.
In fact, my cynical mind ponders that there is scope for a text messaging channel, running at, say, 10pm - 4am, with the right content of course ;), and 60p a message, it could be a licence to print cash, for a short time anyway :D
