I think you're all being a bit harsh. Lesnar vs Angle was quality entertainment - maybe better than their WrestleMania encounter, and in my opinion better than the US Title 4-way.

Also, RVD and Kane had some great spots - the Van Terminator miss looked awesome. Both matches were way above average in my opinion.

I'm just disappointed the WWE can't think of anything original...Goldberg and HHH can fight without the title ffs, we don't wanna see endings that we have already predicted!

Only saw the last 5 minutes of it but i'll take GP's word for it and agree it was rubbish

> • Little Spike Dudley's interferance.

What interference? He ran in, hugged someone then got smacked in the face with a camera

> • Rob Conway in general. How do you see his future?

Already annoying me, hopefully he's just one of thos workers who gets brought up for a few weeks to run interferance. If he gets sent back to wherever he came from take bloomin' La Resistance with him.

Pretty funny seeing Eddie run in, attack someone, then run out again. He didn't become the champ by being dumb

> • The outcome.

While i'm glad Eddie won i'd much rather see him fighting Kurt for the title. I'm getting sick of seeing no-talents like Big Show and A-Train up in the main events.

> • Where now?

More Benoit v Eddie fueding for the title i guess being kept back just because they're WCW.

Who cares, i stopped caring about the Undertaker long ago. Just retire already before you totally ruin your legacy.

> • The outcome.

Was busy making a cup of tea and sandwich to see it. Don't care who won anyway the match probably blowed.

> • Stephanie clapping The Undertaker for over a minute.

That i did see and it's always good to see Steph on tv, unless she's talking in that screechy voice of hers.

Again who cares? Get rid of him he's rubbish and bring in Joey Styles.

> • Bischoff and Coach's relationship.

Who cares again (going to run out of ways to write this soon)

> • Austin attacking both Bisch and Coach after being 'provocked'.

That was pretty funny actually

> • Shane flying again.

I was kind of disappointed he didn't do something crazy but at least the spanish announce table got destroyed

> • Linda slapping Bischoff.

Oh goody another McMahon on the tv. :/

Mid life crisis i guess, but it was his b-day so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say it was a present he had to wear to keep the person happy

> • Kurt trying to break Lesnar's ankle.

Good to see the intensity coming back to Kurt

> • Angle Slam on the chair to birthday boy Vince.

Nice spot and Vince sold it well. Hopefully will mean he's off the screen for a while

> -- KANE vs ROB VAN DAM --

Hilarious

> • Lots of chairs and feet from RVD.

Good to see glimpses of the RVD of old.

> • The rather crap finish.

Yea it did disappoint me but it was a better match than i thought it would be so i'll let them off it.

>

Shouldn't have been in to begin with, he is not main event material. One good sell off Goldberg and that was it. Bust him down to IC title level or just bust him down all together. (Won't happen though seeing as he's pals with HHH so he'll get special treatment)

> • Chris Jericho inside the Chamber.

Should have won this match and was one of the few that was actually entertaining in the match. Needed more time in the match (hell the match needed more time) to entertain but he did alright. Took a nice spear through the glass.

> • Shawn Michaels inside the Chamber.

Another one of the few that came out of this match with any credit. Entertaining for the time he was in there but again needed to stay in longer.

> • Kevin Nash inside the Chamber.

What was he in this match for? He lasted all of 2 minutes. Was he double parked or something?

> • Triple H inside the Chamber.

Spent most of match on his back in chamber. How entertaining. Just drop the damn strap already before you make everyone switch off the tv sets.

> • Goldberg inside the Chamber.

Says alot when Goldberg is the most entertaining guy in a match. Had the best spots in the match and that spinebuster move he did on orton i think it was looked awesome.

> • The outcome.

Same as usual, sledgehammer, HHH wins and continues to drag the WWE down with him. Oh goody :|

> • The match as a whole.

Rubbish, total waste of a EC match. Rubbish booking, rubbish ending rubbish etc etc etc

> • The use of the environment.

What use of the environment? A couple of mashed faces in the steel and Goldberg kicking in a chamber and that was it

> • Goldberg falling over whilst walking to the ring. :cD

I was waiting for the day he did that and he finally made my premonition (sp?) come true :D

Well, here it is. My opinions and thoughts on Summerslam. I'll comment and give each match a rating out of 5, in Scott Keith style. Summerslam was PPV of the year last year so it has a lot to live up to. Vengeance is the benchmark, so let's see how it goes.

WWE HEAT LIVE

-- REY MYSTERIO vs SHANNON MOORE --

For what it was, it was a fairly good match. It was, however, far too short and Rey Mysterio deserves longer. It seemed a little slippery out there as Rey lost his footing twice but didn't affect it too much. Rey won the match at 2 minutes 2 seconds but it was a good match. I'll give it *1/2.

-- MATT HARDY vs ZACH GOWEN --

(Winner :: Matt Hardy)

They needed to cancel this match so they had Matt cut a promo. Didn't really do anything for anyone and although it was technically a match... DUD

WWE SUMMERSLAM LIVE

-- DUDLEY BOYS vs LA RΙSISTANCE --

(Winners :: La Rιsistance)

This is the problem with pushing new guys. They either have the talent and succeed or they fail miserably. La Resistance are a weak team and are only getting cheap heat because they are acting French. They have not proven themselves worthy of being tag champs and the majority of teams are unwilling to put them across anymore. The addition of Rob Conway does nothing as they become a stable and a pretty weak one, although I haven't seen much of Conway. To be honest, the smart money would have been on the Dudleys winning and losing the titles to some other team in some kind of 3-way tag match, thereby avoiding the obvious face/face or heel/heel match.

The match was not pretty and the ending blew with La Resistance winning at 8:07. Continue with La Resistance and the belts die a slow and painful death. 3/4*

-- EDDIE GUERRERO vs CHRIS BENOIT vs TAJIRI vs RHYNO --

(Winner :: Eddie Guerrero)

I thought this match was great. The pace was fast and fluent, it was entertaining and Benoit sold extremely well. The ending could have better and I'm not sure with Eddie retaining. I think Rhyno or Tajiri would have been much better as then Eddie and Benoit could give a much needed boost to the main event on Smackdown.

Eddie frogsplashed Rhyno's back and pinned him at 10:56. The match could have been longer but what was there was great. Eddie's face when Benoit locked the crossface on Rhyno while he had Tajiri in the submission was brilliant. ***1/4

-- A-TRAIN vs UNDERTAKER --

(Winner :: Undertaker)

Okay, we've been down this road before. Taker wins 'against all odds' and whoever he has helped, gets revenge. If Taker wanted to sell his injury, he should have sold it all the way through and not just at points when he remembers to. A perfect example of my point - Taker V Brock HIAC.

The match was slow and not entertaining and Taker won at 9:20. What is there left to say? Dire. 1/2*

-- ERIC BISCHOFF vs SHANE McMAHON --

(Winner :: Shane McMahon)

This had disaster written all over it. Bischoff is not a wrestler and Shane is only a part-timer at best. The Coach getting involved was probably payback for sucking up Raw for the weeks JR was away. Austin was bound to get involved and it was pointless, pointless, pointless. A total waste of time that could have been spent putting someone good over.

Shane pinned Bischoff at 10:33 and it was poor. I'll give a quarter of a point for the elbow through a table but no more than that. 1/4*

-- BROCK LESNAR vs KURT ANGLE --

(Winner :: Kurt Angle)

The match was not as good as their Wrestlemania encounter and Brock was given license to dominate the majority of it. The main event is in danger of growing stale and need to inject more people into it and that does not mean Taker, A-Train and Big Show. Brock didn't really come across very well but at least he tapped in what was my favourite finish of the night.

Angle made Brock tap at 21:18 and it was average. **1/2

-- KANE vs ROB VAN DAM --

(Winner :: Kane)

Well, the result was right for the match that was booked but RVD deserves more and the ending did RVD no favours. It must have been very slippery out at ringside because Kane was not the only person to slip. Unfortunately, Kane was the only one that made it look bad. So, what's left for Kane and RVD. Not much I can think of for RVD and Kane will probably get Shane.

Kane tombstones RVD on the steps on the outside, rolls him in the ring and pins him at 12:53. Not great and could have been a lot better. *1/2

-- TRIPLE H vs RANDY ORTON vs CHRIS JERICHO vs GOLDBERG vs SHAWN
MICHAELS vs KEVIN NASH --

(Winner :: Triple H)

This match was totally wasted. HHH did barely anything and won, Jericho looked good and lost, even I was disappointed at Goldberg losing and I don't like him. They teased Orton turning on HHH but that didn't even happen. Absolute rubbish.

Okay, this is HHH's road to victory. He gets unlocked at 9:00 and gets superkicked straight away. He spends the remaining time in his cell while Goldberg clears up, which I was disappointed with, and then Goldberg smashes the cell to get HHH out, a bit of cell mashing and HHH gets a sledgehammer from Flair and smacks Goldberg for the win. Now you tell me he deserves it. He doesn't.

Amazingly, this match only lasted 19:15 and that was less than Angle/Brock. For the main event and a gimmick match, it was terrible. I've got more HHH related nastiness if you want it. *

In summary, it was not a great PPV but it wasn't too bad. It was average and was not as good as Vengeance. They've got a lot to work on.
