Misery - After using a hair pin to unlock the door to the room Annie has lock him in. Paul is looking for a way to get out of that psycho's house.
He's slowly wheeling himself around and deeper into the house, not knowing that she is on her way back from town and could catch him out of his room.

This is like the most tense part of a movie I have ever seen, it's the first time a film has literally had me on the edge of my seat shouting at the tv.

Fantastic movie.

“The operation was called ‘hobbling’.”

So what are your top movie moments and why?

It one of those films where they try to confuse you so you talk about it so there's more publicity, but when you actually get time to watch it, it is really crap and slow moving.
And people who think it's the best thing, tell me what is so good about it as I'm stumped at how people can like such a shoddy film.

I hated Magnolia, I thought it was just random stories that should have linked by the end but they really didn't.

I was going to post the same. The singing part and the frogs bit.

I was drunk when I posted my reply. It didn't really change my life.

The thing : The blood test

Lock, Stock : the 'girl with brin gun' scene (probably spelt wrong)

the matrix : lobby scene, helicopter scene

shawshank : where the governor throws a pebble at the poster

braveheart : the scene just after his girlfriend is killed

private ryan : the first moments of the normandy landing

Two moments in Magnolia:
When they all sing - was absolutely dumbstruck in the cinema, NEVER seen anything like this in a film (we watch films in this country, movies are what they watch in America - do you watch 'soccer' too?) Also the frog storm, especially when the first frog hit the windscreen - I jumped out of my seat!

Blade Runner:
Roy pulling Deckard's hand through the wall and breaking two of his fingers.

Samuel.L.Jacksons " I will reign down " quotation in Pulp Fiction, just before John Travolta and himself let loose with a hail of gunfire.
