"Woah, a game that I'm actually looking forwards to!"

Freedom: Battle for Liberty Island. This games looks amazing. You control a team of rebels around a war-torn New York in an alternate future where the Ruskis run the country. You go about fighting, recruiting and exploding. The bit that really exites me is that it is being made by the same people as Hitman 2, which is one of my all-time favourite gaming experiences. Can't wait.

Not sure about multiplayer and co-ops though, which is where Conflict 2 is gonna kick ass. That also looks very good. But I could just save the money I would have bought 4 PS2 games with and get an xbox, then wait months for Half-Life 2 and Halo 2 and have a much better time.

The information must be old as they changed the name ages a go to Freedom Fighters. There was a 3 page article in this months Xbox World and it sounds like the Mutts Nuts. Confilct Desert Storm meets Grand Theft Auto style cities (only with more detail) is what it looks like.

Ooh, sounds good.

Going by some of the features, sounds like it'll have a kind of Conflict: Desert Storm 2 feel about it, with the controlling of numerous characters, and the 3rd Person play.

And it's available on PC. So that's all good.

I think there are some screenshts on this site, but gamespot.com have got nearly 100 shots of it and videos and all sorts of stuff. hang on a sec, I'll find the official site for ya.
