Well, here is my spacious, luxuriously decorated abode (cell).

Note the wonderful washing facilities, nicely organised work area and king-sized bed (cot).

My lovely walls, (plastered at great expense and only painted to look like cheep, rough bricks).

This is where I spend a fair bit of time up at training, bloody hot in the heat, freezing when it gets cold, (so I’m told).

Only 12 more weeks.

So you didn't take your badgers with you then.

Yeah, one of our local tutors is the only woman in this country to have gone as far as she has through all the firearms training. She did it for 12 years. I wouldn’t mess with her; her “pythons” must be at least 15 inches.

From what little I know - and this mainly comes down to the only two books I know of written by ex police firearms officers - it's supposed to be a pretty good career with firearms if you can make the cut for it.

The tutors seem to be pushing me towards firearms. Probably because I can achieve the level of fitness required.

I can’t wait for my driving course, blue flashing lights, YAY! First time I will have been legally flashing on the highway!

He'll probably apply for firearms training next, is that SO19, or is that just what they call them in London ?

What if he goes in for something like area car ? Imagine him screaming around in a souped up police car laughing manaiclly ? :P

And they're going to give you a big stick, spray and handcuffs?

The streets are about to get a whole lot more dangerous...

The opposite. Sometimes when I’m sitting in my room on my own, I just find myself shrieking with laughter for no reason.

Ah well, being stuck in a cell for weeks hasn't dented your sense of humour yet :)

Yeah, and that’s just the officers and their friends and families.
