Pretty much, Christopher Lee starts going on about how his parents were opera singers, and even starts singing at one point. That might have been in the extras, actually. Orlando Bloom is boring. Ian McKellen is class.

Listen to the Jackson one. That's probably the best.

I had a quick listen to some of it last week.
The cast one seemed to be Christopher Lee saying "I read this once a year, but not The Silmarillion because it's crap", Fatpoof Samwise saying "I'm gardening in one scene, bet it's not there" whilst the rest laugh and say "That's the midget isn't it Frodo?"

The technical one made me slip into coma

Depends what you're after. The one with most of the cast on is funny - Perrin and Merry do a kind of buddy-cop act that's amusing. Peter Jackson's one just shows how amazingly beardy he is. I think he loves LotR even more than me, which is worrying. But it does showcase his love of the film, and it's really interesting. So those are worth it.

But the one with the desing team & producers is just plain boring if you're not interested in how many planks of wood they used to build Frodo's codpiece, and stuff like that.

GAME have had it on sale via their website since Wednesday, 17.99 plus postage, but you get a free book. I have a vcd of it which will do until the 4 discs and Gollum set comes out.

Cheers, but I've got a *gasp* illegal *gasp* download of it. And I'll be buying the 4-disc, because it'll have Fat Peter Jackson tlaking for hours about how he likes the book. And Christopher Lee doing the same. And Orlando Bloom saying "Oh, I don't like all the attention, really, is this my best side?". Definitely worth the money.
