Woohoo, got BattleField2 on thurs but aint been able to play it, it's devastating. But that will all change on Monday. Ordered me a 6800GT today for a total of £203.27.

I've been an ATi fanboy since the dawn of time, but have kind of gone off them after the last couple of driver releases and their reluctance to bring r520 out this side of November...

So I'm changing to nVidia for the first time ever, and will be ordering my BFG 7800GTX OC'd in a couple of weeks...

Quite frankly urinates over the X850XT PE by about 30-40%. COuple that with 2GB Ram and a Sandi 64/3700+, BF2 will r0><0r my world!;)

fwiw peeps, I've just read that for BF2, you AGP Apeture settings in your BIOS should be set to at least 256!! You should notice a good performance increase.

I have found that when a game is released often for the first week the game has issues with ATi cards, sure there are new drivers withing a short time of release but that little time would annouy me each ttime i get a new game.

God, 200 pounds is cheap?

I abandoned nVidia after continual problems with my GF4.

Sure ATI cards are good, but often when reading through technical forums for games, it's normally ATI cards that are having most of the problems.
