Apparantly filming finally starts in October, with an impressive budget of £12m. I didn't think it would happen but it looks like it's going to. should be interesting.

I think Red Dwarf ruled from Series 1. As someone quite rightly said, it peaked in Series 4 and I think 4 and 6 were the best series. I for one will be first in line to see this film.

I have been doing recently. Not as good as I remembered it, but that might be because I've already seen it. And also it helps if you watch things in the time they were written in. Aging doesn't help most sitcoms - just look at Men Behaving Badly. Ouch.

Red Dwarf was great, it really peaked in series 4, 5 and 6. 7 and 8 were crap. I didn't even bother watching most of series 8.
The film will be terrible. It's just not funny anymore, one of the writers left after series 6 (Grant or Naylor, forget which) and it's been pants since that happened.
