If I want to go to canada for a year it has to be now, while I can still claim studentish status. All the other places are more felxible. Which kind of made up my mind for where to go.
So, do I do it, send off the forms (and some money)? Should I go to Canada for a year?
Part of me is thinking 'screw it'. From september I can apply for a job I have my eye on (maybe the only one). In Canada I'll be doing monkey work (well, probably shop work or something).
Last minute nerves or really better than going?
I don't know.
Do I go?
I think.
I really feel like it'll be kind of crap - crap job(s) for a year, providing I can get one (tourist industry will be shot still (SARS), no guarantees of work anyway), and maybe not all that different to living here.
But I think that's nerves or something...
We'll be waiting for you.
in my opinion
"It's better to regret something you did than something you didn't."
On the other hand it's not the end of the world, and as long as you make sure you ALWAYS have the money ready to walk into an airport with your suitcase at any time and buy a ticket out of there then what's the harm ?
So i say go for it!!!
