Can you answer some questions for me about the PSP? Here they are:

- What do you need to play Wipout Pure online? It says something about WiFi but im not sure how it works.

- I ordered a USB cable that (apparently) charges the PSP aswell as transfers data, can it really charge the PSP or is the guy off Ebay just lying?

- I only have Wipeout Pure and although it's an excellent game I feel im going to get bored of it soon, what other games would you recommend? (Not Lumines, I dont really like them types of games)

Erm...I actually had loads of questions I needed to ask but i've forgotten them now. Oh yeah, are there any good games coming out soon?

I think I might sell my PS2 now, haven't played it 'properly' since Christmas and I could do with the money.

Just sold my PS2, got £80 for it with 2 games.

Now I can buy more PSP goodness!

Im not going to rush into it though, once this £80 is spent I wont have anymore money until July 26th.

Wow, better than Tetris? Like I said, when I sell my PS2 i'll use the money to get a couple of games.

Might choose Lumines now, it's either that or Hotshots.

Without trying to sound incredibly biased, Lumines is far more addictive than Tetris imo. It's a similar concept - get rid of the blocks - but pulled off in a different, more stylish way. The music reacts to how you play (movements and drops add to the tune with little beats of their own) and the colour is immense, there's so much going on for such a simple game.

Personally, Lumines has replaced Tetris as the classic puzzler of choice.

I probably sound like I work for Sony :P

It's really good, Uberball is probably one of my favorite tracks in the game.

Thats good then, 2 more modes is plenty. I find the VR-Style very hard and I sometimes dont see walls and crash right into them.

Lumines doesn't look very good imo but people are saying it's one of the best games on the PSP, I dont even know what you have to do on it but I just know I probably wont like a puzzle game unless is amazingly addictive like Tetris.

I really want HSG now, everyone is talking about how good it is and even though I dont know how to play golf i'd really like to learn.

I dont have enough money for it right now anyway, just bought a 512Mb stick for £35. I wanted a 1Gb one but I was tight for cash, though im sure 512 will be enough.

The sooner I sell my PS2 the quicker I can get myself some more PSP games. BTW, September is looking really good for PSP releases. We may (probably) be getting GTA, GT4, Pro Evo, Burnout and a few other games in September, cant wait for GTA and Pro Evo!

I still haven't got round to downloading Gamma #2 yet. Will get it later today.

I'm pretty sure there are 5 modes and not 3 though. The classic tracks are ok, but they're in a VR-style with no real look to them.

Been too busy with Lumines and HSG lately :D

I just tried out one of them new Gamma tracks (Uberball?) and by coming 1st (not in Tournament mode) I unlocked 'Classic', haven't tried the tracks in 'Classic' yet, I will do later though.

Ya' know there are three modes and the first one is slow, the second medium and the third fast? Well, once i've completed the fast one is there anymore after that?

Oh and can you download custom made skins for Wipeout or can you only use the ones you get from the Gamma packs?

BTW, that other track that came with Uberball is so easy, I was able to do a whole lap without hitting the sides once.

:)

You'll get better at Wipeout with practice. Soon walls won't even pose a threat.

Your links are dead too.

I heard about this PSP magazine ( www.pspmag.gamingextremes.us ) and decided to download it and it's pretty good.

You can download loads of different mags for your psp here too: www.pspmagazines.com

Thanks Bullett, if I can get about £80 for my PS2 i'll happily sell it and use the money to buy a new memory stick or some more PSP games.

The reason why I asked about the USB charger thingy was because when I found out my PSP didn't come with a USB connector I went straight to Ebay and bought one, but what I didn't realise was that I can use my Sony Digital Camera's USB connector to connect my PSP to my PC. So now I have a USB connector on it's way which I will have no use for, but then I realised on the item description it said the PSP could Charge when using the USB conenctor so I just wanted to check if that was true or not.

Anyway...although Ridge Racer looks really good, im not ready to spend another £30 on a racing game because I already have a good one. Hotshots Golf - it looks okay and it has had alot of good reviews but I dont know anything about golf (except Crazy Golf), but this game looks quite simple and easy to play and I could probably learn how to play it. But what about Tiger Woods? Isn't that supposed to be the best Golf game or something? What is it like on the PSP?

GTA and GT4 are also two games i'd like to get, I can probably find out the release date for GT4 but what about GTA? Is it coming out this year? I ain't heard much about it, just seen screenshots.

I read IGN's review for Midnight Club and it sounded very good until they said it takes about 70 seconds for a race to load up which is way too long for my patience.

There seems to be alot of interesting games coming out in September so I might just save my money until then.

Wipeout Pure is soooo sweet, i've been playing it non-stop today, i've got the two Gamma packs, the 1st one was alright...but the second one was much better. I find it really hard not to hit the wall sometimes, like in certain tracks there are so many bends and your ship is going so fast that you just cant turn quick enough and it really bugs me sometimes. I know you ant complete a track without hitting the wall at all but I just seem to hit them too often and have to absorb my weapons to regain energy.

Oh well, im sure i'll get better.

One more thing, why isn't it possible for people who haen't got a Wireless Router to connect their PSPs to their normal routers via the USB port and conenct to the internet that way?
