Just a few questions for those with this mp3 player.
-What is the maximum you can upgrade the memory to?
-Does it come with a charger?
-Does adding extra memory split up the music, ie do you have to switch cards to hear the rest?
-Honestly, what is the battery life like?
-What are the headphones like?
-How many average sized songs (3.5 mb) would you get on different sized cards?
-What is the software like?
-Is there a shuffle? and what does it do?

As you can see i am new to the world of MP3 players, and have little cash to spend on one, would you recommend another MP3 player or even a cdplayer, (given that i have loads of MP3 files and no cd-rw) Any other comments are welcome! Thanks

I dont have that musch cash at the mo, after spending most of it on games. But as i say, for what i need it for, the mp3 player i have ordered should do me just fine.

I would go for the MP3 player then, get the biggest memory one you can afford. Although like I said, memory cards for ebuyer are very cheap - but there are a few different types so make sure you buy the right one.

Another option is to get a USB memory stick, alot of them can be used as MP3 players, they will be cheaper but will probably have less features, again ebuyer.co.uk

Problem is, i am using a laptop away from home, and would really need to buy an external one. Anyway the 128mb will do me fine for what i will use it for...

You can get a potable CD player that plays MP3 files on CD for £30 and a 52 speed burner for £40 (roughly £70 in total) I personally would go along that route, then again do you want to carry a CD player around when a MP3 play is 10% of the size and weight ?

Decisions Decisions

A 128mb card would hold about 25 average sized MP3's, after a few days you'll be bored of them so you can just download some more, don't really think it's worth getting extra memory cards, although on ebuyer they are so so cheap (saw one for £3.99 the other day, can't rememebr size though)

I want a MP3 Car Stereo but will have to wait for prices to come down, friend has just bought one with 6 CD changer, imagine, 4.2gb of MP3's at the press of a button, that would take days to play from start to finish.

Well i dont have that many MP3's to warrant gettin a 2 gig one, but its jsut that i dont have the capabitlities to burn cd's of my favourite songs. I just get the MP3's and put them together. And if i do fill my 128mb, i can just add another 128mb card.
