Well, after I have done my 2 years minimum on the beat, I will have more of a taste of the whole policing thing. My tutors seem to be pushing me towards the armed response unit, just because I am one of the few people capable of reaching 10.2 on a bleep test.

I may not be policing the streets just yet, but not long ago I did ask a guy who was blocking a junction, (parked up while with his mate, having just been to the shop), to “move along”.
There was an exchange of stares, and after I did my manly puffing out of my chest, he placed his copy of the Beano under his arm and peddled off.
