We've had big arguments in the past and then it's all died down but then when we argue again all the old stuff gets brought up and it goes downhill fast. Like I said: she's stubborn and doesn't forget thing easily. In the past I would've swallowed my pride and apologised unreservedly but I've had enough. There are other underlying reasons too but I won't bore you with the details.

Really, i never thought things were that bad!

She's incredibly stubborn - once she's decided or said something she won't go back on it, even if it means her losing out.

To be perfectly honest, I've had enough I think. She's threatened to leave 3 times now and I don't think I'm gonna try and stop her this time.

No - she still hasn't spoken to me today, only replying when I spoke to her. We had a bit of an argument about half an hour ago and then she walked out. I asked her where she was going but she didn't answer. She took her handbag with her curling tongs and the dog.
