Sky win all LIVE Premiership rights and BBC win all HIGHLIGHTS rights.

Match of the Day is back, Des Lynam can kiss my ass. ITV can kiss my ass.

It does, however, mean that we will most probably have to pay for 85% of all Live games, which in my opinion is a big con.

Well, more info when I can be bothered to get it.

Discuss.

Wonderful.
And now Premiership Plus is only £10 a YEAR, so I'll definitely be investing.
If only NASN wasn't so damned expensive.
I want my live NFL, I do.

This is truly excellent news.

What a shame though, that Wycombe won't be on it.

"Sky has won all the rights to show all live Premiership football in the UK for three years from the 2004/5 season in four separate deals worth more than £1bn.

Meanwhile, the BBC has won the right to show highlights, meaning a regular return to the screen for Match of the Day.

The Premier League decided to sell four separate packages of live matches for the three-year period.

Sky is paying £358m for the first tier of 38 matches, £282m for the second tier of 38 matches, £230m for the third tier of 31 matches and £154m for the fourth tier of 31 matches.

The BBC is paying £105m for the highlights package, taking it back from ITV."

More to come...
