As in the Usual Suspects Keaton?
Yes.

no,no, no, no, no - NO
you obviously rented something else. really
in this day and age with all the money that go into films there is no excuse for such a steaming pile of excrement.
the only good bit of the film was the death scene which occured approximately 2 minutes in.

What 6 people go to a deserted ship? Amazingly original. The whole "stranger who is in fact the evil bad guy" has been done so many times (recently Deathwatch) and the whole collecting souls for the master is trite.

Predictable shock ending, as all crap horror films have a twist at the end.
I'd rather watch a Disney film than the unoriginal, turgid, cliched pile of leprous pus that is Ghost Ship.
The film, unlike other horror stories, has a point to it. It isn't just "6 people go into a house, who will survive?!" - the concept is greatly original and, admittedly, while is does take a while to get going it is great.
It isn't the sort of film that will scare you witless but it is quite jumpy and has some very good effects. The conclusion of the film is a bit of a letdown but the final scene is a fairly good 'cliffhanger' (ish) ending.
The film is well worth a rent but probably not a buy.
