Boy:Rofus - AS cookie monster said, this is a bad choice, everyone will take the rip out of him, sounds like a dog name.

Girl:Elen - OAP name, plus her life will be plagued by people spelling it Ellen...

Buy a book off Amazon with name in maybe ? When you think of the insane/pop culture related/make no sense names all of us have on here then we're probably not the best group of people to ask. Plus your wife probably already has an idea, maybe ask her ?
