So now Joe Cole has been sold aswell, following Sinclair,Di Canio,Johnson and Kanoute.
Some 6.6 million to join the Chelsea revolution, what chance do we have of regaining our Premiership status,I think the odds have been stretched after this latest departure.
I will still give the club my support in the first division, but as a realist I doubt if an instant return is possible,I hope I'm wrong.

to be honest i can't see Carrick staying long. He is a premiership standard player and west Ham are now not a Premiership team. He will follow the rest out of Upton Park. If he goes, and it's more than likely Defoe will too, your sunk.

I'm hoping that Carrick will shoulder the responsibility for leading the midfield (maybe Roeder should make him captain, vice captain or club captain) and that Lee can manage one more season of competitive football.

I'm curious to see how are passing game will work out in the kick and rush 1st division.

that basically looks like a strong first division team. you need better centre backs and for the youth system to pay off again.

with a team like that you will lose. James, Etherington and Defoe about the only half decent players you have. But all the losses have been predictable.

DW's a happy bunny.

I gutted to see my team decimated in such a (predictable) fashion. With the transfer market as it is, other teams obtaining (our) top quality players from a relegated club who are in financial strife is to be expected.

Will be watching the game on Sat (midday) against the mighty Preston. I hope my local show Nationwide games come to think of it. Our starting lineup will be a bit unfamiliar.

James
Anton Ferdinand
Repka
Dailly
Brevett
Etherington
Carrick
Lee
Hutchinson
Conolly
Defoe (please please let him still be a WHUFC player by the end of the day)

I have no idea what our subs bench would be like...

a) Reading are a great team.
b) Wycombe 2...West Ham 1.
