I can't understand my generation.

*goes all pompous*

Apparently, people like me are odd for;

A) Being quite shy
B) Actually knowing something abiut the world
C) reading more than the TV guide

Of course, these are a select few mongs, but to be honest, where do they fit in if thats lame?

Arr!

i never used to be shy....then i think i became shy, although im not sure if i am shy, it might just be that i don't care enough to....walk around in the host's mother's underwear at a house party. I actually saw someone do that once....

I like posts like these. Not many of them, but they're a good read no matter how short they are.
It is pretty annoying when you feel like you can't be yourself because you're shy or something. And it's annoying when people think you're like an alien because of it. Just because we might like things they don't and not like the things they do. Pah, I love these discussions.

Fair enough, that's what I wasn't sure about and why I asked.

But that means that to not care, you have to be extravagent/not-quite-so-shy, and I'm not. To be honest, I really don't care, seriously, because I know who my friends are and who can go to hell for all I care. Just because I don't make a show of myself doesn't mean I can't. I quite easily could, but then again, I just don't want to.

Yes and no. I think some people know their limitations and are happy with what they have over what they don't.
