"Do you like the area where you live?"

I've noticed over the past few months I've been here that a few people sound as if they dislike the area that they are currently residing in. I can't say that I'm that happy with the area I live in at the moment either. There are no places to hang around and just "chill". I'm paranoid about the general area behind my house for no reason. Half of my friends are in Wales so I can't see them all whenever I want which I'm not happy about. Would have thought that I'd be used to it after nearly four years but no I'm not. I really hate Sundays, I just find the evening so depressing.

Back to the original point. Anyone care to comment on there current dwelling area?

Still, at least in Essex you might bump into one of the Prodigy.

I live in Essex

Some parts of essex are so countrified and pretty, others are inbetween or you have big yucky new towns.

I live in an inbetween area (though its turning greatly towards a rougher new town)

I used to love it here, no problems. But over the past ten years I think most places have got worse - the whole 'crews' and 'gangs', I don't feel safe late at night If I am out at all.

When I move out I plan to move somewhere alot nicer, more 'in yee country' where the towns are pretty and people are all friendly!

O well I better be off to chelmsford now

I live in a town, mainly known for FISH; we have a crappy footy team known as the Mariners.
I really hate it where I live at the moment. There’s nothing good about it what so ever.
For starters we have a beach about 15 min drive from my house. Not the best of beaches, but people seem to like it. We have a theme park called Pleasure Island; all the kids go here every chance they get, they seem to go every other day. I never thought it was that good.
There is a lot of trouble round here. It has seemed to improve over time though.
I do hope one day i will move from here, i always use to move about alot. Now i dont but what a place to end up in.
