ButchML asked me to give them more time so I'm keeping quiet.

The email service does seem to be entering one of it's bad patches - I've just been explaining to some of my Freeola clients that it's only a temporary issue and will be resolved soon...

The problem hasn't resolved itself. I have raised this with the engineers who are looking into it as we speak. I will try and get something on the network status page but there is a limit to what I can do from home!

Can't be around all the time ;)

Still there are procedures in place if major issues occur, so hopefully Eccles is right, and the problem has resolved itself.

Just checking this one out. Telnet seems fine. Might have been fixed before I saw this!

You are correct on all counts....error message as follows:

Unable to send or receive messages for the *******account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR Login failed.
Server: 'mail.freeola.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

Which as we both know, doesn't work :-) This error happens with Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail.....big time failure or 'switched off' to sort another 'problem'....I wonder :-)

Great services and friendly support
I have been a subscriber to your service for more than 9 yrs. I have got at least 12 other people to sign up to Freeola. This is due to the great services offered and the responsive friendly support.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
