Seriously they've pulled out of the Carling Festivals because Jacks hand hasn't healed properly. Well this is a loss to me and I'm sure other people too as they were one of the main bands I wanted to go see but it does pose the question of who will replace them as they were a main headliner for the Saturday, my wishes are for either Feeder or Muse and that's not too unrealistic.
Oh and the Lost Prophets have pulled out too.
Thoughts?

I heard that the Stripes would be there next year too but BRMC replacing is new to me, hmmm just doesn't seem the same somehow still it's better than nout.
I take it you're going this year Gabbo? I still haven't recieved my tickets yet but e-bay seems to have them up for sale with pics of theirs which is slightly worrying. I didn't think you got them until like a fortnight before the event, have you got yours?

taken from a may copy of kerrang!
"lostprophets, the welsh nu-metal sextet, have spent the last six weels in Los Angeles recording the folloe-up to 2001' 'the fake sound of progress'.
speaking to kerrang!, frontman Ian Watkins reveals: "the new stuff id going to make you s**t your pants. It's he heaviest stuff we've ever wrtitten and it's sounding wicked."
The band have been working with Queens of the Stone Age producer Eric Valentine.
"Eric's amazing", enthuses Watkins. "He made us spend a month on the drums alone, doing things like setting them up in different rooms to get a different sound. It's been pure extravagance!"
Watkins also admits that the band were on the verge of burning out by the end of their last touring cycle.
"our brains were prety fried by the end of it as so much happened so quickly," he says. "My head was in pieces. But we took two weeks off from the last tour of the album and then went into writting and jamming. We spent abour six months jsut cominf up with ideas."
Lostprophets have also been confirmed for August's carling weekend.
Although their festival shows, which take place at reading on sunday the 24th and leeds on friday the 22nd, have been billed as their only UK gigs this summer, Watkins has revealed that the band will most likely play a few low-key sghows in preperation for the event.
"we haven't played live shows for seven months ans we need to learn the new songs," he says. "But it'll be great playing live again."
The bands second album is due for release in the late summer.
Also, Lostprophets have pulled out and are being replaced by Biffy Clyro.
