The sold-out audience here at SR Towers are all set for what should be a classic bout. We’ve seen Rock vs Hogan and we’ve seen HBK vs Jericho, and SRW plans to beat both of those with a legendary match of it’s own as two of the most popular stars in SRW history battle it out, all in the name of pride.
Last week on Eclipse a frustrated Scotty Dogg (Figo) came to the ring and announced a match that would shock the pro wrestling world…

"Betcha been wondering why I - one of the best in the CAW division, isn't involved with Free-Fall, huh?!"
He looks at the crowd as if for them to say 'Yes' before speaking again.
"Well Firstly, I DO hope to be involved at Free-Fall, but that depends on one thing…Cong Man!"
The crowd erupts as Scotty shouts the name of his Tag Team partner in Da Animalz…
"Now you know Cong Man, I respect you and you know that… and I've been thinking."
"I've been involved in a lot of title matches in my time here in SRW and I've thoroughly enjoyed them, especially the 6 Man HIAC which I will never, ever forget…"
Suddenly a huge roar goes up, they loved that match.
"I had the CAW Tag Team titles with Rage, The LightCAW title, and the HardCAW title. But there's only ever been one title that I have ever been interested in - the one that I have come sooo close to winning on numerous occasions, the belt that is being held currently by Hawk - The CAW Heavyweight championship!!!"
Boo's and jeers go up for Hawk, even if he is possibly the greatest CAW Champion of all time.
"I'll be the first ever CAW Grand slammer if I do win that title. But as I say, I've been thinking a lot and this is what I have come up with - Me, you Cong Man in a one on one!!
The arena is deafened again, I think they like the sound of that. But they quieten down quickly, as Scotty wants to explain himself…
"No, I'm not quitting Da Animalz or looking to destroy you Cong Man, unlike Hawk. I just wanna see if I can beat the best that the CAW division has to offer, so then I know I can one day become the GREATEST SRW CHAMPION THAT HAS EVER LIVED!!"
Once again, we hear another roar of the crowd as The Cong Man and Scotty look at each other…
"So whadya say Cong Man, me, you in a match purely for mutual respect…"

“IT BEGAN IN AFRIKA-KA-KA!” Well this man is never one to turn down a challenge, especially one as huge as this! The roof has literally been blown off here, what a huge ovation for THE CONG MAN! He confidently struts to the ring showing his respect for his adoring fans, celebrating on all 4 turnbuckles before preparing himself mentally.
“CONGY! CONGY! CONGY!” The crowd scream his name, they’re certainly hyped up for this one!
“WHO LET DA DOGS OUT!?” Oh man if the roof had been blown off when Cong Man arrived then the whole arena should be in ruins now, another amazing reception, this time for SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO)! He enthusiastically jogs his way to the ring, high-fiving the fans and grinning widely – he loves the SRW audience and they obviously love him too!
He steps into the squared circle and celebrates wildly, he certainly looks confident considering this is a match that could make or break his career. As you know Scotty Dogg (Figo) needs only the CAW World Title to become the first ever CAW Grand Slammer, he just hasn’t been able to take his chances. However, if he beats Cong Man tonight, a former CAW World Champion himself and possibly the biggest and most popular star ever to grace our screens, then that will prove that Scotty is good enough for the World Title. Scotty (Figo) needs to win tonight to prove something to himself as well as the fans.
Cong Man is smiling wryly – this is a big match for him too. Since his return from injury he hasn’t been able to take advantage of his limitless ability – he’s been screwed over and over by his rivals like Reaver (Ant), Jetster and Hawk (AfroJoe).If it wasn’t for these people it could easily be he that is facing Hawk for the World Title later on at Free-Fall.
It certainly wouldn’t help his career if he lost to his tag partner Scotty Dogg (Figo), after already being turned on by former best friend and partner Hawk (AfroJoe). After all, he was the leader of Da Animalz, a faction of which both Scotty and Hawk were part. This is a huge match for him too if he wants to get back on track.
“CONGY! SCOTTY! CONGY! SCOTTY! CONGTTY!”
There’s massive fan support behind both men who shake hands, and begin to circle each other as the bell rings. Cong Man launches himself at Scotty who uses his pace to roll across the ring and out of reach. Cong Man smiles and the two men face each other again, this time Scotty diving in quickly looking to take Cong Man’s legs from underneath him. Cong Man skips out of the way, bounces off the ropes where he leapfrogs over Scotty and bounces off the opposite ropes. Both men anticipate a flying clothesline and duck simultaneously before both sliding out of the ring on opposite sides.
The two competitors realise what’s happened and smile at each other through the ropes – they know each other so well it’s gonna be tough for one man to get an advantage in the match. The fans applaud as they enter the squared circle and finally lock-up, Cong Man shoving Scotty back to the corner before referee Teddy Long (Tony) separates them.
WHAM! Huge clothesline from Scotty (Figo) out of no where, the fans erupt with cheers from Scotty’s corner and boos from The Cong Man’s – it’s literally half-and-half in terms of fan support! Scotty (Figo) knows he can’t waste time and delivers a Leg Drop to the neck of Cong Man, before heading straight to the second rope.
Cong Man gets to his feet, turns, and meets a patented Scotty Dogg Missile Dropkick! The crowd erupt once again, the noise is deafening!
“CONGY! CONGY! CONGY!”
The Cong Man’s fans are starting to really get behind their man and Scotty looks a bit miffed to be honest, he’s not used to not being the fan favourite!
“SCOTTY! SCOTTY! SCOTTY!”
Now that’s more like it – Scotty (Figo) grins and hits the fallen Cong Man with a vicious right-hand! That was a brutal shot to his best friend and tag team partner, the fans seem a little surprised – but just remember how important this match is, neither of these guys are gonna hold back. Scotty viciously stomps away on Cong Man, before slowly picking him up, hooking the arm over his shoulder, and delivering a textbook Overhead Suplex!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) stalks the Cong Man as gets to his feet, and this time plants him with a Snap Suplex! Cong Man holds his back and grimaces in pain, before an Elbow Drop to the sternum drops him back down to the canvas again. Scotty Dogg (Figo) seems to be growing in confidence and he celebrates to the fans who to be honest don’t take much of a liking to this as the Cong Man chants start once again.
“CONGY! CONGY! CONGY!”
Cong Man seems spurred on by this and he suddenly leaps to feet and begins throwing the right-hands to the crowd’s delight! He whips a surprised Scotty Dogg into the ropes and takes him down with a Drop Toehold, before locking in The Point Noiré! The Cong Man’s very own version a single leg-lion tamer crab has got Scotty screaming in pain and desperately reaching for the ropes but Cong Man pulls him back to the centre of the ring!
Scotty begins kicking his other leg wildly and SMACK! A fluky sharp shot to the Cong Man’s temple sends him flying back across the ring and Scotty slides to the outside to recover.
The sold-out audience here are still on fire, a few Scotty chants can still be heard but at the moment the support is overwhelming for the Cong Man. Scotty looks a bit angry at this as he walks slowly around the outside of the ring, as the fans in the front row chant “CONGY!” right in his face. He turns to face them, disgusted that they have turned on him already and screams “shut your damn mouths!” Cong Man is still in the ring, his eyes locked on Scotty Dogg (Figo), he knows he has him reeling.
Scotty suddenly slides back into the ring but The Cong Man is equal to it, not allowing his opponent to get up with harsh shots to the back. Cong Man decides it’s time to deliver some punishment to Scotty’s back instead, as he lifts Scotty up and delivers an amazing Stalling…BRAINBUSTER! Scotty holds the back of his head but tries to get up anyway, and WHAM! SUPERKICK TO THE FACE FROM NO WHERE!
Cong Man is in control as he makes the first cover of the match – but the ref only gets to one before Scotty gets the shoulder up. Cong Man wastes no time though and whips Scotty into the turnbuckle, and follows this up with a clothesline! Scotty staggers out of the corner where Cong Man begins to hook him up…aw man what’s he going for here…DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT – WHAM! BRUTAL MANEUVER!
Now Cong Man’s heading to the top rope, we don’t see him up there much! He signals to the fans, maybe he’s going for his trademark Porté Malebó Splash…but oooooh! It looks like Scotty had been playing possum as he shoves Teddy Long (Tony) into the ropes and Cong Man falls painfully on the top turnbuckle! Scotty is still struggling though from that Double Underhook DDT and is unable to take advantage.
Cong Man manages to stay up there and somehow manages to make it back to his feet, showing amazing balance, and Scotty Dogg (Figo) gets up, turns and MEETS A FLYING CROSSBODY FROM THE CONG MAN INTO A PIN! 1…2…
KICK-OUT! Scotty (Figo) powers out and then knocks down the oncoming Cong Man with a big clothesline!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) staggers back into the corner to recover from his recent barrage of offence from the Cong Man, before suddenly gaining some extra energy, flitting to the rope, and nailing a Leg Drop right to the back of the Cong Man’s neck! Scotty gets to his feet and holds his arms a loft in the air cockily, rather unlike Scotty in my opinion. A lot of cheers go up from his fans but many more boos can be heard, it looks like The Cong Man has the fans on his side.
Scotty (Figo) seems to be planning his next move and suddenly his eyes light up, and he goes to work quickly, rolling Cong Man over so he’s on his stomach and applying the CRAZYSTRETCH! This time it’s Cong Man’s turn to scream in pain as Scotty tightens the hold, Cong Man’s body is being stretched into an unholy position! Another plus point of this submission is that it’s extremely hard for Cong Man to get to the ropes, but it also takes a lot of energy to apply…Scotty doesn’t want to let go yet, and he’s screaming at Teddy Long (Tony) to ring the bell even though Cong Man is refusing to tap!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) finally loses patience and releases the hold, before stomping angrily on his fallen friend and tag team partner.
“CONGY! CONGY! CONGY!”
“SHUT YOUR GODDAMN MOUTHS!” Scotty (Figo) screams, and the audience respond with loud jeers!
Scotty (Figo) stands over Cong Man, beckoning for him to get up, I think he wants to finish this one now! Cong Man gets to his feet and turns – Scotty sneers in anticipation and delivers an amazing Spinning Roundhouse Kick – but Cong Man ducks it and WHAM! SCOTTY DOGG CRACKS TEDDY LONG (TONY) WITH THE KICK! THAT’S PROBABLY KNOCKED HIM OUT COLD – IT WAS A BRUTAL SHOT!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) loses his concentration for just a second and this is enough for Cong Man to take advantage, who takes him down with a Backdrop Suplex! Cong Man is all fired up now, “C’MON!” he screams to the fans who cheer in response, before pulling Scotty’s legs apart and delivering the BANANA SPLIT – OOOOOOH! RIGHT WHERE THE SUN DOESN’T EVEN THINK ABOUT SHINING!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) slides to the outside and Cong Man quickly follows, smashing his head against the security barrier before throwing him headfirst into the steel steps – CRASH!
Cong Man looks enraged – maybe he’s not happy about the way his supposed friend and tag team partner has gone about this match? Both men are standing in front of our Announcer’s Table now exchanging tired right-hands, the man from the Congo getting the better of them! Scotty Dogg (Figo) looks really dazed after his run-in with the steps and he’s literally staggering around here in front of us, and Cong Man has climbed up onto the ring apron!
Cong Man leaps and looks for a Double Axe Handle – BUT SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) CATCHES HIM AND DELIVERS A HUGE BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX FROM NO WHERE AND CONG MAN IS SENT CRASHING THROUGH THE ANNOUNCER’S TABLE – SMASH!!!!
WHAT CARNAGE! BOTH THE CONG MAN AND THE ANNOUNCER’S TABLE HAVE BEEN DESTROYED, WHERE THE HELL DID SCOTTY DOGG GET THAT FROM!?
Scotty (Figo) is crouched on the outside here, perhaps even he can’t believe what he’s just done to his best friend and tag team partner! He tries to shake the cobwebs and get to his feet as the fans all around the arena chant “HOLY S**T! HOLY S**T!”
Scotty Dogg (Figo) looks at the shattered remains of the table of the Cong Man who is lying motionlessly and once again here tonight, his eyes light up! The crowd are once again on their feet as Scotty slowly but surely climbs to the top rope closest to where Cong Man is lying.
He signals to the fans who both boo and cheer in response, and then steadies himself…no way is he even thinking about this…HE JUMPS – CCCRRRAAAZZZYYYSSSAAAUUULLLTTT – WHAM!!!!!!! SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) NAILS A PERFECT CRAZYSAULT – WHAT HANG TIME!!! THIS IS AMAZING STUFF!
The sold-out audience here begin the two-worded chant once again as Scotty Dogg (Figo) and The Cong Man lie lifelessly in the remnants of the Announcer’s Table, watching the replay we can also see that Scotty got a lot of the table as well as The Cong Man, was the awesome move worth the risk?
Teddy Long (Tony) is still down and…and wait, what’s this? IT’S HAWK (AFROJOE)! The CAW World Champion is making his way down to the ring, this man certainly has history with both these guys. Hawk used to be best friends with both Scotty and Cong Man before he won the Title, and since then he has been feuding intensely with both of them…he also used to be part of Da Animalz, so this match could be seen as of special importance to him.
He makes his way over to both The Cong Man and Scotty Dogg (Figo) where he slowly drags them both back into the ring, and then stands over both men, looking a little confused to be honest. And now what’s he doing…HE PUTS THE CONG MAN ON TOP OF SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO)! WHY IS HE DOING THAT!? WHEN THE REFEREE WAKES HE WILL HAVE TO MAKE THE COUNT, IS HAWK GONNA WIN THE MATCH FOR THE CONG MAN!?
He makes to leave the ring…and then stops. He shakes his head, comes back and…PUTS SCOTTY DOGG ON TOP OF CONG MAN INSTEAD! WHAT THE HELL IS HAWK (AFROJOE) DOING!?
He goes to exit once again, and he’s halfway up the entrance ramp when he stops and thinks…he shakes his head and then makes his way back, stopping to pick up a steel chair from ringside though. He enters the ring where both men are beginning to stir and stands between both of them, his chair raised…both men are slowly getting to their feet, which of them is he gonna hit!?
Both men are somehow up, blood pouring from both of them, and Hawk (AfroJoe) seems to hesitate before…CLANG! DEVESTATING SHOT TO THE HEAD OF THE CONG MAN! HE HIT THE CONG MAN!
I don’t even know if Scotty Dogg (Figo) is capable of thought at the moment, but he stares at Hawk in utter disbelief…CLANG!!! OH MAN HAWK JUST HIT SCOTTY DOGG TOO – THIS IS INSANE!
Hawk (AfroJoe) drops the chair and laughs, he hasn’t helped either of them, he’s just delivered even more punishment! The fans boo, jeer and even throw things at our CAW World Champion but he doesn’t care…wait, who’s that sprinting to the ring? GRANDPRIX! THE CROWD ARE GOING NUTS AS THE MAN HAWK FACES LATER FOR THE TITLE RUNS TOWARDS HIM!
Hawk (AfroJoe) sees this and makes his escape out of the ring and through the crowd, Grandprix chasing, before both men finally disappear backstage! Amazing!
Our cameras pan around the buzzing arena, no one can believe what we’re seeing here! After a little while all 3 men – including Teddy Long (Tony) – are stirring once again. Long begins a 10-count as both men desperately try to pull themselves up in the corners!
They’re up by the count of 9 and Scotty sprints at Cong Man only to be thwarted by a sharp kick to the gut, and Cong Man then puts Scotty onto his shoulders! POWERBOMB! POWERBOMB! AND A THIRD POWERBOMB – CRASH! BRUTAL IMPACT AS THE CONG MAN DELIVERS THE CONGO BONGO, THAT’S GOTTA BE ALL! CONG MAN FALLS INTO A COVER!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE- BUT NO!! SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) SOMEHOW GRABBED THE BOTTOM ROPE!
Cong Man looks utterly distraught and he hits the canvas in frustration. He berates Teddy Long for the apparently slow count, and then picks up Scotty Dogg again, I think he’s going for a second Congo Bongo…but Scotty Dogg slides off his shoulders!
Cong Man turns quickly but Scotty Dogg (Figo) is too quick, SCOTT BOTTOM – WHAM!!! SCOTTY’S FINISHER FROM NO WHERE! HE HOOKS THE LEG!
ONE!
TWO!
KICK-OUT! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE, WHAT RESILIENCY FROM BOTH WARRIORS!
Both men are up again, are they superhuman!? The whole arena is on it’s feet here, they can sense the end nearing for one of these men…Scotty Dogg (Figo) tiredly whips The Cong Man into the turnbuckle – Cong Man hits hard and staggers back, and Scotty Dogg (Figo) rolls him up!
ONE!
SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) HAS A HAND ON THE ROPES FOR LEVERAGE!
TWO!
THE REF HAS NO IDEA!
THREEEEE!!!
IT’S OVER! SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) LETS GO OF THE ROPE AND QUICKLY ESCAPES THE RING, THE VICTOR OF THIS UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME AND BRUTAL MATCH-UP!
The crowd’s response is fiery – some are cheering wildly and some are distraught but all appreciate what a bout they’ve just seen, everyone is applauding! Soctty Dogg (Figo) lies on the outside, probably too tired to enjoy the moment, and Cong Man is leaning on the ropes in the ring – maybe he didn’t even know that Scotty was using the ropes for leverage?
Scotty Dogg (Figo) staggers up and begins to trek backstage, but not before signaling to the fans in celebration and giving his friend and partner in the ring a long look. Cong Man stares back, blood pouring from a wound to his forehead, who knows what lies ahead for these two men after this match?
Scotty Dogg (Figo) finally exits as Cong Man is helped backstage, receiving a massive ovation from his adoring fans, but many things have been proved tonight by both men. Scotty has beaten the best there is tonight despite using the ropes, he still proved to the whole world that he can cut it. Maybe the match would’ve gone Cong Man’s way, but after being suplexed through that table, receiving a massive Crazysault, a brutal steel chair shot to the head and a Scott Bottom, the fact that Scotty had to use questionable tactics to win certainly says something.
We have witnessed a legendary match between two legendary SRW superstars here tonight, and make sure you don’t miss anymore of Free-Fall because we’re sure to see more of this over the next few days.

He whips a surprised Scotty Dogg into the ropes and takes him down with a Drop Toehold, before locking in The Point Noiré! The Cong Man’s very own version a single leg-lion tamer crab has got Scotty screaming in pain and desperately reaching for the ropes but Cong Man pulls him back to the centre of the ring!
Scotty begins kicking his other leg wildly and SMACK! A fluky sharp shot to the Cong Man’s temple sends him flying back across the ring and Scotty slides to the outside to recover.
The sold-out audience here are still on fire, a few Scotty chants can still be heard but at the moment the support is overwhelming for the Cong Man. Scotty looks a bit angry at this as he walks slowly around the outside of the ring, as the fans in the front row chant “CONGY!” right in his face. He turns to face them, disgusted that they have turned on him already and screams “shut your damn mouths!” Cong Man is still in the ring, his eyes locked on Scotty Dogg (Figo), he knows he has him reeling.
Scotty suddenly slides back into the ring but The Cong Man is equal to it, not allowing his opponent to get up with harsh shots to the back. Cong Man decides it’s time to deliver some punishment to Scotty’s back instead, as he lifts Scotty up and delivers an amazing Stalling…BRAINBUSTER! Scotty holds the back of his head but tries to get up anyway, and WHAM! SUPERKICK TO THE FACE FROM NO WHERE!
Cong Man is in control as he makes the first cover of the match – but the ref only gets to one before Scotty gets the shoulder up. Cong Man wastes no time though and whips Scotty into the turnbuckle, and follows this up with a clothesline! Scotty staggers out of the corner where Cong Man begins to hook him up…aw man what’s he going for here…DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT – WHAM! BRUTAL MANEUVER!
Now Cong Man’s heading to the top rope, we don’t see him up there much! He signals to the fans, maybe he’s going for his trademark Porté Malebó Splash…but oooooh! It looks like Scotty had been playing possum as he shoves Teddy Long (Tony) into the ropes and Cong Man falls painfully on the top turnbuckle! Scotty is still struggling though from that Double Underhook DDT and is unable to take advantage.
Cong Man manages to stay up there and somehow manages to make it back to his feet, showing amazing balance, and Scotty Dogg (Figo) gets up, turns and MEETS A FLYING CROSSBODY FROM THE CONG MAN INTO A PIN! 1…2…
KICK-OUT! Scotty (Figo) powers out and then knocks down the oncoming Cong Man with a big clothesline!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) staggers back into the corner to recover from his recent barrage of offence from the Cong Man, before suddenly gaining some extra energy, flitting to the rope, and nailing a Leg Drop right to the back of the Cong Man’s neck! Scotty gets to his feet and holds his arms a loft in the air cockily, rather unlike Scotty in my opinion. A lot of cheers go up from his fans but many more boos can be heard, it looks like The Cong Man has the fans on his side.
Scotty (Figo) seems to be planning his next move and suddenly his eyes light up, and he goes to work quickly, rolling Cong Man over so he’s on his stomach and applying the CRAZYSTRETCH! This time it’s Cong Man’s turn to scream in pain as Scotty tightens the hold, Cong Man’s body is being stretched into an unholy position! Another plus point of this submission is that it’s extremely hard for Cong Man to get to the ropes, but it also takes a lot of energy to apply…Scotty doesn’t want to let go yet, and he’s screaming at Teddy Long (Tony) to ring the bell even though Cong Man is refusing to tap!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) finally loses patience and releases the hold, before stomping angrily on his fallen friend and tag team partner.
“CONGY! CONGY! CONGY!”
“SHUT YOUR GODDAMN MOUTHS!” Scotty (Figo) screams, and the audience respond with loud jeers!
Scotty (Figo) stands over Cong Man, beckoning for him to get up, I think he wants to finish this one now! Cong Man gets to his feet and turns – Scotty sneers in anticipation and delivers an amazing Spinning Roundhouse Kick – but Cong Man ducks it and WHAM! SCOTTY DOGG CRACKS TEDDY LONG (TONY) WITH THE KICK! THAT’S PROBABLY KNOCKED HIM OUT COLD – IT WAS A BRUTAL SHOT!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) loses his concentration for just a second and this is enough for Cong Man to take advantage, who takes him down with a Backdrop Suplex! Cong Man is all fired up now, “C’MON!” he screams to the fans who cheer in response, before pulling Scotty’s legs apart and delivering the BANANA SPLIT – OOOOOOH! RIGHT WHERE THE SUN DOESN’T EVEN THINK ABOUT SHINING!
Scotty Dogg (Figo) slides to the outside and Cong Man quickly follows, smashing his head against the security barrier before throwing him headfirst into the steel steps – CRASH!
Cong Man looks enraged – maybe he’s not happy about the way his supposed friend and tag team partner has gone about this match? Both men are standing in front of our Announcer’s Table now exchanging tired right-hands, the man from the Congo getting the better of them! Scotty Dogg (Figo) looks really dazed after his run-in with the steps and he’s literally staggering around here in front of us, and Cong Man has climbed up onto the ring apron!
Cong Man leaps and looks for a Double Axe Handle – BUT SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) CATCHES HIM AND DELIVERS A HUGE BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX FROM NO WHERE AND CONG MAN IS SENT CRASHING THROUGH THE ANNOUNCER’S TABLE – SMASH!!!!
WHAT CARNAGE! BOTH THE CONG MAN AND THE ANNOUNCER’S TABLE HAVE BEEN DESTROYED, WHERE THE HELL DID SCOTTY DOGG GET THAT FROM!?
Scotty (Figo) is crouched on the outside here, perhaps even he can’t believe what he’s just done to his best friend and tag team partner! He tries to shake the cobwebs and get to his feet as the fans all around the arena chant “HOLY S**T! HOLY S**T!”
Scotty Dogg (Figo) looks at the shattered remains of the table of the Cong Man who is lying motionlessly and once again here tonight, his eyes light up! The crowd are once again on their feet as Scotty slowly but surely climbs to the top rope closest to where Cong Man is lying.
He signals to the fans who both boo and cheer in response, and then steadies himself…no way is he even thinking about this…HE JUMPS – CCCRRRAAAZZZYYYSSSAAAUUULLLTTT – WHAM!!!!!!! SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) NAILS A PERFECT CRAZYSAULT – WHAT HANG TIME!!! THIS IS AMAZING STUFF!
The sold-out audience here begin the two-worded chant once again as Scotty Dogg (Figo) and The Cong Man lie lifelessly in the remnants of the Announcer’s Table, watching the replay we can also see that Scotty got a lot of the table as well as The Cong Man, was the awesome move worth the risk?
Teddy Long (Tony) is still down and…and wait, what’s this? IT’S HAWK (AFROJOE)! The CAW World Champion is making his way down to the ring, this man certainly has history with both these guys. Hawk used to be best friends with both Scotty and Cong Man before he won the Title, and since then he has been feuding intensely with both of them…he also used to be part of Da Animalz, so this match could be seen as of special importance to him.
He makes his way over to both The Cong Man and Scotty Dogg (Figo) where he slowly drags them both back into the ring, and then stands over both men, looking a little confused to be honest. And now what’s he doing…HE PUTS THE CONG MAN ON TOP OF SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO)! WHY IS HE DOING THAT!? WHEN THE REFEREE WAKES HE WILL HAVE TO MAKE THE COUNT, IS HAWK GONNA WIN THE MATCH FOR THE CONG MAN!?
He makes to leave the ring…and then stops. He shakes his head, comes back and…PUTS SCOTTY DOGG ON TOP OF CONG MAN INSTEAD! WHAT THE HELL IS HAWK (AFROJOE) DOING!?
He goes to exit once again, and he’s halfway up the entrance ramp when he stops and thinks…he shakes his head and then makes his way back, stopping to pick up a steel chair from ringside though. He enters the ring where both men are beginning to stir and stands between both of them, his chair raised…both men are slowly getting to their feet, which of them is he gonna hit!?
Both men are somehow up, blood pouring from both of them, and Hawk (AfroJoe) seems to hesitate before…CLANG! DEVESTATING SHOT TO THE HEAD OF THE CONG MAN! HE HIT THE CONG MAN!
I don’t even know if Scotty Dogg (Figo) is capable of thought at the moment, but he stares at Hawk in utter disbelief…CLANG!!! OH MAN HAWK JUST HIT SCOTTY DOGG TOO – THIS IS INSANE!
Hawk (AfroJoe) drops the chair and laughs, he hasn’t helped either of them, he’s just delivered even more punishment! The fans boo, jeer and even throw things at our CAW World Champion but he doesn’t care…wait, who’s that sprinting to the ring? GRANDPRIX! THE CROWD ARE GOING NUTS AS THE MAN HAWK FACES LATER FOR THE TITLE RUNS TOWARDS HIM!
Hawk (AfroJoe) sees this and makes his escape out of the ring and through the crowd, Grandprix chasing, before both men finally disappear backstage! Amazing!
Our cameras pan around the buzzing arena, no one can believe what we’re seeing here! After a little while all 3 men – including Teddy Long (Tony) – are stirring once again. Long begins a 10-count as both men desperately try to pull themselves up in the corners!
They’re up by the count of 9 and Scotty sprints at Cong Man only to be thwarted by a sharp kick to the gut, and Cong Man then puts Scotty onto his shoulders! POWERBOMB! POWERBOMB! AND A THIRD POWERBOMB – CRASH! BRUTAL IMPACT AS THE CONG MAN DELIVERS THE CONGO BONGO, THAT’S GOTTA BE ALL! CONG MAN FALLS INTO A COVER!

THREE- BUT NO!! SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) SOMEHOW GRABBED THE BOTTOM ROPE!
Cong Man looks utterly distraught and he hits the canvas in frustration. He berates Teddy Long for the apparently slow count, and then picks up Scotty Dogg again, I think he’s going for a second Congo Bongo…but Scotty Dogg slides off his shoulders!
Cong Man turns quickly but Scotty Dogg (Figo) is too quick, SCOTT BOTTOM – WHAM!!! SCOTTY’S FINISHER FROM NO WHERE! HE HOOKS THE LEG!

KICK-OUT! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE, WHAT RESILIENCY FROM BOTH WARRIORS!
Both men are up again, are they superhuman!? The whole arena is on it’s feet here, they can sense the end nearing for one of these men…Scotty Dogg (Figo) tiredly whips The Cong Man into the turnbuckle – Cong Man hits hard and staggers back, and Scotty Dogg (Figo) rolls him up!

SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) HAS A HAND ON THE ROPES FOR LEVERAGE!

IT’S OVER! SCOTTY DOGG (FIGO) LETS GO OF THE ROPE AND QUICKLY ESCAPES THE RING, THE VICTOR OF THIS UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME AND BRUTAL MATCH-UP!
The crowd’s response is fiery – some are cheering wildly and some are distraught but all appreciate what a bout they’ve just seen, everyone is applauding! Soctty Dogg (Figo) lies on the outside, probably too tired to enjoy the moment, and Cong Man is leaning on the ropes in the ring – maybe he didn’t even know that Scotty was using the ropes for leverage?
Scotty Dogg (Figo) staggers up and begins to trek backstage, but not before signaling to the fans in celebration and giving his friend and partner in the ring a long look. Cong Man stares back, blood pouring from a wound to his forehead, who knows what lies ahead for these two men after this match?
Scotty Dogg (Figo) finally exits as Cong Man is helped backstage, receiving a massive ovation from his adoring fans, but many things have been proved tonight by both men. Scotty has beaten the best there is tonight despite using the ropes, he still proved to the whole world that he can cut it. Maybe the match would’ve gone Cong Man’s way, but after being suplexed through that table, receiving a massive Crazysault, a brutal steel chair shot to the head and a Scott Bottom, the fact that Scotty had to use questionable tactics to win certainly says something.
We have witnessed a legendary match between two legendary SRW superstars here tonight, and make sure you don’t miss anymore of Free-Fall because we’re sure to see more of this over the next few days.

DW sure liked that match, it was great though.
That was one top match. Kinda reminded me of Eddie Guerrero Vs. Chris Benoit at Vengeance. Scotty played the Eddie role whilst Congie played the Benoit role.
I loved the way it ended, with Scotty using the ropes. Could lead to an "I'll do anything for the SRW title" situation, making Scotty number one contender. And Grandprix chasing out Hawk was great stuff...I can picture it now. :cD

Indeed. Top match. I was surprised at the reaction Scotty was getting from the crowd... After using the ropes to get the pin, could we be seeing a heel turn? Should be interesting to find out... Hawks interference just made the match even better than it already was. Very good. I thought we were going to see a new alliance form but I was wrong! Grandprix chased him outta there! :D

Well, Scotty may have had to turn heel(ish) because he couldn't get the fans cheers, but that made him more likely to get the win. Somehow, I don't think all the issues here were resolved and I can see long term ramifications...(Expect a promo after the PPV)
Scotty was always facing an uphill battle in the 'cheering fan' stakes and the fact that he had to cheat to win emphasised that.
It's good that Grandprix chased away that interfering low life, Hawk! He will get his just desserts.
There will be some words exchanged between Congy and Scotty after this one. Eclipse is going to be interesting.
