I'm 14, 15 in 9 days. There's a girl who likes me (called me the cutest thing she's ever seen :D), but is it wrong for me to go out with her when I am 16 months older than her (She's 14 in December)? Is that wrong or is it fine?

Indeed, I'm 16 and my closer friends range from 13 to 19...Age never really bothers me, if I like the person, it's never been that much of an issue around here for most people, we joke about it but never that badly. Depends on the area/people I guess.

What's wrong with it because of her age?

I'm 15 and I've got two 13 year old mates

On that note, there is a kid in the year above me (year 13 now) who seckses up year nines. sick, sick child he is. And everyone thinks so. Now the girls in his year or our year won't touch him with a flagpole.

That makes no difference. You're in school. Year groups are what matter, not actual ages.
This girl will have friends who are a full two years younger than you.
Remember when you were in year 9. Would you have gone out with a year 7? It's the same thing here.
Maybe you do like her, but if you go out with a year 9, your friends WILL tear you to pieces. You'll be the subject of hundreds of easy jokes for months.

He's right, one of my friends had a few year 9 girlfriends and now has something of a reputation ;) Still, I had a little experience in this myself, and survived through that - I stand by what I said at the time really, as long as you feel right with her and wont be affected by what people say, then fine, go for it. However, it's easy to say you'll just ignore people and then let them ge tto you later on..

It's possibly a little more worrying that one of my mates here in the shop who left 6th form last year also likes a girl from year 9, but still..

Dude, if you go out with a year nine when you're in year eleven, your friends will rip it out of you. A year ten is okay, but a year 9?! jéus.
