Nice way to christen me in the new forums.

I was on holiday and was in swimming pool too much and lots of water got trapped in my ear. Which a few days ago meant wax began to built up hurt my poor whittle w'ear. So I got drops and it got worse, so much so it hurt to eat wah wah.

Couldn't sleep last night... up at 4am this morning then on plane journey the pressure of landing and taking off just about killed me with pain.

But I don't like moan.

I have cotton wool in it and I can't hear anything.

Dynamite.One stick in each ear.
There are some small side effects, but you don't need to worry about them.

Well after the diagnosis it cleared up fairly quickly, antibiotics did the trick. You might be right though it may simply be that you need "pumpng out"!!

Get it checked out QUICKLY though, it could reduce you to a moaning wreck of a man!! <--Worst case scenario

Through mouth?

I did swallow a bit the other day... so how long does it last?

Thought it could be ear infection or might need ears syringed

I know it must be painful, my sister had something similar, many a night did she lie awake moaning in agony... thats how I know that if its an infection its contarcted through your mouth and not as initially assumed by everyone directly from swimming in unclean water

Thats a result of water taken in through your mouth, not your ears believe me... learn to keep your mouth shut in the pool dammit!!

Hey you got the same as what i had in america a few months ago, you have to have these stupid antibiotic ear drops, which make your ear feel like it is filled with water for ages...
And it also hurts to turn your head...
Because i was in the usa it cost my parents $100 just to see the doctor and $110 for the ear drops and the insurence for some reason wouldnt give any of that money back...

It really hurts, i know, i was walking round in universal studios with it in very very hot conditions...

Hmm, may not of helped that i didnt tell my parents till it go really bad, but i made it worse by going ot loads of water parks...
But i was not allowed to go under water for the last 6 days of my holiday because it would make it start hurting again...

Hope it feels better soon, using the drops twice a day stops it hurting after about 5 days, which was good because it ment that i could fly home...
