Anyone know of any worthwhile free or low-cost software that allows you to design DVD covers?

I've already got burning software that lets you do CD covers, but not DVD - so I don't want Easy CD Creator, NERO or anything like that - just a simple cover designer.

Ta in advance.

Hi

I found these links on Download.com, I don't know if these programs will be exactly what you want:

eCover Constructor 1.0 (Free to try)

CD Label and DVD Jewel Case and Label Creator 3.6 (Free to try)

Wookie, look on zdnet.co.uk for their downloads section, you should find at least a few good DVD cover creators. As I said, Acoustica is a good one, but there are others too, shareware, freeware and trial.

I've got a great bit of software called "Click & Design 3D" from Stomp Inc., but it only lets you do CD/DVD disc labels and CD jewel case inlays. It has a lot of templates for various stationery from people like Avery, but alas still no DVD inlays. :-(

I thought about MS Word, but I want something easier and more capable. Word is not only overly complicated, but also sizing things right is a lot of trial and error.

I want something where you only have to worry about designing, and that automatically prints to the right size, like any CD cover software.

Yeah I have that. But it only does the actual CD designs, not the casing.

I've got some DVD & CD cover thing at home, from the disc on the front of a magazine, Acoustica, I think it's called. Also, the ExpressIT stuff is pretty good.
