Same as the RAW thread. You all seem to think it's a good idea so I made a smackdown thread. Just discuss what happens on smackdown, week in, week out. Remember NO SPOILERS but if you really have to post one, make sure you give everyone a chance to watch the show.

That's the sort of stuff i point out to anyone when they're dismissing wrestling as fake. Yes the results may be pre-determined and the matches scripted but there's no way you can fake falling from around 8 feet with force onto your back

Yep, thats true...and O Fertig is never going to be a Benoit, but he is comparable to a young Sid Vicious, a young 'taker or an ECW Mike Awesome..

Not really saying much though when you consider his competition to be the likes of Matt Morgan and Batista who couldn't put on a decent wrestling match to save their lives

Booker T can play an effective heel, but insulting Smackdown isn't going to get it done, the fans don't care about the brands enough for that to work. On a positive note though, WWE has cancelled plan to use Booker T as Undertakers 'job' man. Undertaker will now be feuding with Mordechai (Kevin 'Seven' Fertig) who has just been called up from OVW and is one of the better 'big men' in the sport at the moment.

He needs some time off to heal up, 8-12 weeks I think it was, so they just put this I quit thing into the storyline. Why the hell did he chokeslam Angle? Stupid, stupid writers...I don't wanna see a Big Show/Angle feud.

Meh, i don't know why i even bother watching Smackdown at the moment. The only things at the moment that are making me want to watch it is if the Undertaker returns next week, Eddie, Cena and RVD. But putting Eddie and Cena in crappy matches like we saw this week (well maybe not Cena but still...) is boring, even if the two are good, i mean Big Show...

Booker T as a Heel just doesn't work and whats all this Big Show crap all about?

Well, it wouldn't be that bad in itself as long as he didn't win the title and was just there to job to Eddie to give him a break from feuding with the usual heels...but in a year when Hardcore Holly has also had a main event feud for the title it does indeed show that Smackdown in the inferior brand....

The fact Bradshaw is getting a title shot just shows how low Smackdown has hit

SMACKDOWN is really at a low. The main event is so boring and Kurt Angle isn't exactly a "top" GM.
